T-Mobile Authorized Retailer — Local services in Cocoa Beach

Prior to going in I looked online how much my trade in would be which after tax came out to $400 (including paying off my old device).Horrible customer service I walked in to see about upgrading to a 16 pro max. Employee didn’t even know if they had any in stock and had to walk in the back. After returning from the back he asked if I was apart of T-Mobile and I said yes he proceeded to walk to his manager and said “Yeah he is a T-Mobile member are they is stock now?” Which I found odd for them to decide whether a phone was in stock or not. He continue getting my account information and when the information finally pulls up we go over the details of the upgrade. For context I was trading in my IPhone 14 Pro Max. He informed me that I would need to pay off my the remaining balance and I said yes I am aware. He then tells me that my bill would go up $45, I quickly interjected and said that online it said it was only going to be $23 a month. He then walks to his manager and and tell him that I said it would only be $23 and from his managers mouth said the following “well hopefully he didn’t look online” which he reply’s “he said he already looked at online”. I immediately walked out aware of the situation. They are trying to up charge and add additional costs into my plan as if I wouldn’t be aware to make a sale that would benefit their numbers. I recently phoned the T-Mobile store in Cocoa Beach. (I'd tried another T-Mobile store in Cocoa, but their response to my queries was lackluster, at best). When I called THIS store, however, my questions were answered readily and professionally. I had purse and keys in hand in a trice, and headed out. Tristan (who'd taken my call) continued to answer my questions without making me feel pressured. (This surprised me because so often sales people try to sell me something that will benefit THEM, but not necessarily me.) Not only did Tristan help me choose a phone that would meet my needs, but he (sort of) assembled a team, Kameron and Isaac, who happily joined in the "Question and Answer session". Now, this is where things really get interesting. [Drum roll, please.] When I went home, my 'budget' was not happy with the purchase. Dear 'budget' is quite happy to allow me to make this purchase the first part of next year. But not now. Whether I liked it or not, 'budget' insisted I return the phone. At this point Tristan and his team outdid themselves. Returning a purchase has never been easy for me. But when I arrived at the store and told them the situation, they were wonderful. They completely understood. They engaged the store manager, Stephen, to help with the return. They were, in short the absolute epitome of professionalism. Believe you me, next year I WILL return to THIS store. Man, am I ever looking...

I recently visited the store to switch from Metro to T-Mobile due to two things; faster service and wanted to upgrade to an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Almost immediately as I walked in, a nice, young employee came to greet me and asked what I needed today. I told him exactly what I explained above and he took care of everything from there on out. The employee was very knowledgeable and did offer other choices for phones that rivaled the iPhone 13 Pro Max. His knowledge of specs of the devices he listed as viable options were quite impressive and almost swayed me from the iPhone. However, knowing my past experiences, I already wanted to switch away from Android.

In the end, the experience was immaculate. The customer service was quick, friendly and most importantly informative. The employee definitely wasn’t set out to have me buy the most expensive phone, as he offered some cheaper alternatives.

I will continue my business with T-Mobile, especially at this location and if I can with this particular employee whenever I’m in need again. However, I’m unsure how the experience would be with other employees at T-Mobile, but I would strongly recommend seeking out for the employee named Tristan if he’s ever available, so that you’re guaranteed to receive...
