Feeling so sad to be writing this review! I had been a loyal customer of Starbucks for many years, but here is the straw that broke the camels back. First and foremost, i have had plenty of good experiences here. There is a couple young ladies who work in the morning time who are kind and respectful. I once had to have a drink remade, and although she was in a rush, she took care of it. I have tried to be kind to her ever since because i appreciate rushes and remakes suck!
My significant other and i usually will go in the mornings, but one particular week day, we got a notification Starbucks was offering half off a 2nd drink from 3-6, i believe. We were going to run errands after getting off our 9-5 jobs, so we pull up.. it’s 5:30. The coupon expires at 6. The wait time didn’t end up bothering us, it’s the fact that the kid at the window, who only had one car in front of us the whole wait- didn’t honor our coupon at 6:02.
We pull up, he see’s the coupon and asks would you like to use your coupon? We say, yes. It’s 6:02 at this point and we had waited quite sometime. He’s then says, we can’t honor that coupon it’s past 6 now. We aren’t the type of people to make things into a big deal, if there was any remorse involved. We are generally “chill”. He simply did not care. He was rude.
I would like to mention there was only 1 car in front of us this whole time. He knew, and we knew the reason it was past 6 was because of their long wait time. I understand at this mid day time, baristas are making sweet cream, cold brew, etc- but i also understand we had been waiting that whole time to use the darn coupon.
I decide after the coupon isn’t honored to call and complain. Not looking for anything free, but to give feedback so others don’t have this situation happen. Alyssa answers the phone and is incredibly kind, takes our complaint kindly and says hey, if that situation happens in the future, give them my name, and we will take care of it. Awesome. That’s the Starbucks we know. We let it go. I didn’t want any free drinks, i just wanted the situation noted because ultimately it wasn’t fair that we missed out due to the unnecessary wait.
Today, months later, we pull up and the young man is there again who didn’t honor our coupon. He has brown hair and has little care for customer service. Definitely not “fostering community”- He tells his peers while they are standing around that he has a story about the people in the window but he was gonna wait for us to drive away to tell them.
That was us. We remember you too. We heard your poor customer service the first time. At this point, with the frequency i visit Starbucks and the amount i pay, Starbucks is missing out on about 15k in revenue yearly from us leaving.
I know this doesn’t affect him personally, but Starbucks should take note at how poorly this young man treats customers. No apologies for being unable to use the coupon, no empathizing with the situation- but now gossip? We had let it go. Today, all we wanted was to grab our coffee and go, and instead we’re now the target of gossip by a young man who needs an ego check. If you really want to say something, maybe don’t do it next to the window?
I often tip in the app & try hard to be an easy customer. As a heads up, baristas here often wear their aprons outside to take out trash. This is an unsanitary practice.

Read moreWe were on vacation and headed out of town. I had previously stopped at the Starbucks in Target right down the street for coffee because this store wasn't listed on the Starbucks app. My coffee from target tasted like burned chocolate so I decided to hit up the store I'd just passed. When pulling in I noticed the drive thru wrapped around the building and in the road so I decided to go in. I was able to place my order fairly quickly. Then I went to the end with the herd. There were probably 15-20 people waiting on drinks. It took about 18-20 minutes for my drink to be served. The girl behind the counter informed us that they were short handed and drinks would be out as soon as they could. All the while , no one moved with a sense of urgency. Employees were chatting and laughing with each other, moving as if the store was empty and no one on the other side of the counter had a schedule to follow. After finally receiving my iced coffee it was made wrong. No classic, No vanilla. Just coffee and cream. There was no way I was going to return the coffee and wait another minute in that store. I just counted it as a loss. Worst experience in a Starbucks to date The pics I've uploaded is to show how much of each drink went into the trash. I tried to drink them but just couldn't stomach it. The drink with the sticker is from the store on this review. The cup that has been written on is from the Starbucks inside Target (they were out of venti cups). Based on my experiences, someone from Seattle needs to come down to Missouri and...
Read moreAwful. I ordered something online thinking it wouldn’t get started until I got there because it said 7-15 minutes so I put in the order and 2 mins later it said it was ready. When I went to pick it up, I asked if it had been sitting there and they said yes it had been sitting there for 15 minutes ago when I ordered it. I asked if they could remake it because usually when I order something or pick up it is not started until I get there to pick it up. The lady flat outside no. I explain I did not want a Frappuccino that was supposed to be frozen to be liquid. She was quiet for a long second and said pull around to the window and we will try to remake it. When I pull around to the window, she gives me the cup and it is melted and has condensation on it. I said this looks like it has been sitting and she said no but we will remake it. It also had drizzle on it and I ordered it without drizzle. She said we will remake it. She took it in. I heard the blender going and she gave it back to me and as I was driving away, I realized it had a big old chunks of ice in it, and it had whipped cream and Drizzle at the bottom, meaning she just dumped it in a cup took a little bit of it, blended it with the ice and put it in the cup and put more whipped cream and drizzle on top. I will not be going back.. I am very disappointed. I probably will not be returning to this location. I ended up going to the one in the mall right after throwing...
