The focus of most restaurant reviews, usually focuses on the quality of the food.... Our wonderful experience starts with "The People" behind that exceptional food. Through the Carlsbad store, we catered our daughter's baby shower for about 30 in our backyard. From the moment of arrival, owner Shah and manager, Agatha were not just organized, professional and committed to excellence; they were warm, and simply fun to spend the day with! They just clicked. Being a newbie to the "Crepe Experience",,, the first round starts with the savory style, ham, cheese and veggies, or Vegetarian with a Guacamole added flair. Both were simply exceptional. Then,, gotta have a second round of amazing dessert, sweetness; Crepes with strawberries, fresh bananas finalized with drizzled chocolate. They were simply Off the Hook! Shah and Agatha's organized, teamwork made the process fast and efficient. My wife and I whole-heartedly recommend Froglanders, Carlsbad for any party or event catering needs. Excellent eating experience.. from walking in and being greeted by their employee, She was so nice, helpful and she definitely knew their products. My order complete order was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste, We got the "awesome Crepe" which is a combination of fresh strawberries with banana and lines of Nutella, not too sweet but the perfect amount. Agatha recommended me a Thai tea Bubba, I wasn't sure what to expect but that was one of the best Bubba I ever had. This place is definitely a hidden Gem in Carlsbad. I'm kind of surprised to see some of the negative reviews for this food service. Awesome yogurt (I'm a classic tart lover and it hit the spot.) Great selection of other flavors as well. Easy self serve. Pay by size not weight which is honestly nicer and less stressful. My partner got the cinnamon roll crepe which was deliciously creamy and sweet but just the perfect amount. Open until 10:30pm so a perfect place to hit at sunset or coming back from dinner or drinks. But above all, the service was top notch. The owner was a wonderful person and made this an experience beyond just getting yogurt. It's truly a special thing to feel like someone is easy to know and chat with even in the span of a handful of minutes. At a time when life is hectic and busy, it's worth stopping by to slow down, get something yummy, and have a nice chat....
