I am out of the area decided to stop by to get quick food. We order tacos and there was a gross hair in our food! We called restaurant same night was put on hold no one spoke with us. I called again today and Jose answered the phone claiming he’s the GM (didn’t know how to speak professionally nor knew how to handle issue). I stated the situation and every time I would gave him a response to a question he would reply with “oh my god, now I have to go look!” As a general manager you’d expect a whole different way of handling issues that they caused. He took my card info and said you got credit for 1 taco. When I explained to him we didn’t eat our food because of contamination and we were disgusted he said, “you only found 1 hair in 1 taco that’s all you get credit for.“ He also said “1 hair is fine, we are clean place.” What the hell?! He was saying I should’ve looked through the rest of my order to find more hairs but because I only found 1 hair I only get credit for 1 taco. This isn’t a scavenger hunt. He said “times are tough, we can’t reimburse you your order.” What does that have to do with me? If they were sanitary there wouldn’t have to be ANY reimbursements. He also proceeded to say everyone is bald. This is a very childish remark that I know for a fact isn’t true. There’s females there as well and my server had lots of hair. I asked for owners name and said I’m going to have to write a review because how poorly he’s handling the situation and he said, “that’s fine, we’ve been here for years and we’re doing good.” Yet before he said times were tough. This guy has poor communication skills, poor people skills, poor management skills, and has a lousy personality. OSHA should pay a visit and his owner should have a retraining implemented for him. This wasn’t a big or hard issue. It’s the way he handled everything even from speaking to me. I won’t be returning to this establishment. Also as a Hispanic I give authenticity of food 0/10. Cheap quality, oily, dry, bland,...
Read moreEvery other Sunday My family and I decide to try a new restaurant. It is normally a group that includes grandma, grandkids over the age of 13 and older children (just to give a visual) Today May 16, 2021 at approximately 11am I along with my family went into this place. Let's start with the food 5 of us ordered chilaquiles "yulk" egg was not fully cooked the sauce was bitter and rice was not good at all. The mole was not good at all and the service was just SAD! The bus boy and waiter were rude at no point did the say excuse me when reaching in to place plates, we were a large group and all of us had water and an additional drink except for one person. I asked the waiter for straws and he came back with 4 then I reminded him again and he came back with 3 straws. I asked again for the 3rd time and he literally brought a cup full of straws to our table and placed it with an attitude. All I can see was eyes rolling. I asked for my plate to please be removed and not once did the waiter not bus boy ask ( how was the food) my plate was almost untouched. It would of been nice to be a knowledge as far as is there anything else I can get you? Can I asked why did you along with 3 other people did not eat your food. Clearly the conversation was being avoided. I am not proud to say that because of this experience my tipping was not great but it was not deserved. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN....
Read moreReason why I gave 2 stars. Visited Garcia's for the first time. 1. The waiter David stopped at our table three times, once to take the order, bring the drinks and bring the check. 2. The runner/waiter brought out the wrong food, sat it on the table. I told him this is not what I wanted. He replied a Chimmichanga is the same as an Enchilada. If I didn't like it he will bring me the correct item. I asked him to just bring the Enchiladas anyway, because the other item was a little torched on the ends and didn't look appealing. Instead, he brought out more salsa and went to the table next to ours for about 15 minutes, he chatted, hugged, kissed, held hands, more hugs and kisses, introduced them to other staff, walked out the door with them, took photos and never came back to the table. Instead they both kept rushing bt as if they were very busy. Meanwhile the restaurant is clearing out. Finally grabbed the first waiter, by now its been 30 minutes. Tell him about my food, he looks at me like a deer in headlights and ask me what I ordered. I replied '"you wrote it down, the Enchiladas". He told me I can have them to go. But I wouldn't be charged. He charged me for both the Enchiladas and the Chimmichanga. Refuse to take one off the bill. No manager around, now everyone is claiming to not understand what I'm saying. My daughter did...
