Burger MAXX — Restaurant in Charlotte Amalie

Poor communication or lack there of..I was stuck in rain waiting for taxi so I decided to go in and grab food to go. Last minute kinda thing. The place was almost empty. As I walked in and spoke to owner, he said nothing kept walking looking for someone to take my order. A woman at register just looked (Rebecca) manager kept trying to get her attention and she instead kept talking to friends. The manager then asked me what I needed. I asked for a menu. They didn’t have one..I then ask what they have? Answer: rice..fish..burgers..I’m not into burgers much and eat a lot of fish but figured I’d purchase something while I wait. I asked how much?? Answer: CRICKETS Maybe they didn’t hear..so I asked again..CRICKETS!! I walked in hungry trying to get away from rain and walked right out CONFUSED/IRRITATED, hungry and at this point preferred to wait in rain!! I’m thankful my taxi showed me a super nice Italian restaurant walking distance away from this dump called Virgiles!...

Took our food for takeout. Burger was good and cooked about medium well. Potato wedges were perfect and coleslaw was creamy. They had a good sweet and sour sauce as well. Hotdog was seared but doesn’t offer a lot of toppings asides from your usual Ketchup, mustard, relish, etc.. For two burgers (with sides) and two hotdogs we paid about $32.
