Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Charlotte

If you’re really willing to wait 45 + minutes to be served then this place is perfect for you. I don’t know how a Buffalo Wild Wings in the center of a city like a Charlotte can be run so badly and inefficiently. I live in Myrtle Beach with a much smaller population but our Bdubs still gets very very busy too. And they absolutely wipe the floor compared to this location. The crazy thing is the two times I’ve been each time it wasn’t even that busy. There were people but not enough to justify the horrendous wait time and service. And both were after huge mls soccer matches. The first time, which was two years ago, I know for a fact they gave away our mobile order on accident to the wrong person. They didn’t even ask who it was for. Anytime someone walked in from a delivery app they’d just take whatever bags were on the counter. The staff didn’t even ask. I overheard the manager or head host even say oh shoot I think we gave them the wrong food. But I guess she was too prideful to admit she was wrong. And when we asked we didn’t get an answer besides oh they’re still making it. One of the hosts even was like dang are you guys still waiting?? We waited for over an hour and a half past pick up time for our food we ordered while we were still at Bank of America Stadium during a game. I thought ordering before the supposed rush of people would prevent this but clearly this was going to happen regardless. The lady had the audacity to say there’s a lot of people and wings take time to make. With not even half a building of people seated. Horrible attitude and rude to anyone who complained to her about the wait time. I hope she was fired since that time we visited. This last time we visited the service was slightly better in the sense that we at least got our food a little quicker…after waiting 45 minutes. Our server Chloe was nice to my brother and I. She was sorry for the wait and apologized numerous times. She clearly seemed annoyed by the way this place is run. If you are served by her at least know you’ll have a server who’s on your side. She even chatted with us to pass the time briefly. I’m assuming the manager, the guy with a polo company shirt, didn’t seemed bothered by how slow his kitchen was sending food. He was happy to brag to a group of women about the real bass the audio system had for music! It was starting to get somewhat busy but again not enough to where the wait time should be this long for food. Food was good. At least there was that saving grace too. I felt terrible for the bigger groups who were seated after and prior to us. We left and they were still waiting with their drinks. This place suffers in lack of management and poor wait time. I don’t even think Gordon Ramsay yelling at the kitchen could get that food out faster and management to actually manage. This location is probably only open from suckers like us who didn’t know about the way it’s run or had hope it had changed. 100 bucks says the management don’t even read these reviews they just have an automated response. I never waste my time to leave reviews. But this was such dog ish I feel I have to warn others. Keep in mind I prepped myself for this to be almost McDonald's quality food as it always is but they were open late after work. With all that said, this was sad. Idk if it was national save chips day but my nachos only needed a few bites before they were blank chips ready for salsa that was never coming. I'm super glad I have two to-go boxes still full of chips after I ate nachos. I mean that's what we buy nachos for right?

In full transparency, I've always known there boneless wings struggle in the size department. Poor guys. At this point they would qualify for surgery if they would just join the army. But what was sent was sad. Also trash flavor. If I could have took a bite of them and then had a choice of not excepting then at all or having them 80 percent off.... I would have thanked God he let me go without food.

This whole review is pointless and I'm just venting my frustration before never choosing this pathetic company again that let me down when I was already expecting absolute trash from them. But for the one person who actually cares' get salt and pepper and put it on your wall. Then take a bite. You will be more pleased.

Will I order from them again? No. Is that worth a review? No.

Could I potentially save a life with this review. That's actually possible. This was the worst food I can remember eating. If I payed half a dollar during this time of inflation I would be pissed. The fact someone boxed this and said " my job is done" is pathetic. Do yourself a favor and go grab a hand full of dirt to eat it. You will be more pleased. Thank you for showing me the bottom of the bottom. I'm once again grateful for any food I eat.

I just wish I would have gone dumpster diving for food instead and donated the money spent on this excuse for food.

All jokes aside, shame on this place. This was horrible. Idk how your in business. I hope for your owners sake this is a one off. Otherwise this poor guy will loose all the money he worked for paying off legal fees of people you guys made mad or killed.

I am writing a 3-star review for Buffalo Wild Wings located at 400 E M.L.K. Jr Blvd B in Charlotte, NC. I had two separate experiences at this location, which resulted in mixed feelings.

During my first visit on Thursday, May 9, 2024, I had a waiter named Keith who stood out for his exceptional service. Despite the restaurant being understaffed and busy due to the NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, and MLB regular season games, Keith went above and beyond to fill not only my order but also several other orders. His dedication and efficiency were commendable, and it significantly enhanced my overall experience. Keith's efforts alone pushed my review to a high 3-star rating, almost reaching 4 stars.

However, my second visit on Friday, May 10, 2024, after the Bad Bunny concert, was quite disappointing. The restaurant was extremely understaffed, resulting in significant delays in basic services such as getting water and drinks. We waited for 45 minutes without any sign of our waitress. It was only then that I noticed Keith was bartending and taking on additional responsibilities to help the overwhelmed staff. Once again, Keith displayed remarkable dedication by taking orders and filling drink orders for tables that weren't even assigned to him, all in an effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Despite the staffing issues and delayed order fulfillment, Keith's heroics provided a glimmer of hope and reason to consider returning to this location.

It is worth mentioning that this Buffalo Wild Wings is conveniently located near the NASCAR Museum, Charlotte Convention Center, Spectrum Center, and Bank of America Stadium. The proximity to these popular attractions makes it a convenient choice for visitors.

In summary, my overall experience at Buffalo Wild Wings in Charlotte was a mixed bag. The standout service provided by Keith on both visits was exceptional and worthy of recognition. However, the understaffing issues and delayed order fulfillment during my second visit were disappointing. Despite these shortcomings, Keith's dedication and heroics give me several reasons to consider returning to this location.
