First Baptist Charlotte — Attraction in Charlotte

Coming to FBC Charlotte has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. The people there are totally authentic, with everyone willing to recognize that they have flaws and that Jesus is the only person who can get us from point A to point B, and that He most assuredly will!

Each week, we are taught from the Bible verse by verse in an unedited way. The pastor believes that the Bible is the authentic, inerrant word of God and that it provides everything necessary that people need to know God, Be saved by Jesus, and live peaceable, happy lives. We learn from the Old Testament equally as from the New Testament since they are both pointing to Jesus, and the church loves and respects the Jewish People as being the progenitors of the Christian faith in Jesus.

The church loves Israel and believes that God’s promises to the Jewish people through Abraham are still in effect, in the same way that God’s promises to us of salvation through Jesus are still in effect and never made void.

I have learned so much sitting under the teaching at FBC, and I have made lifelong friends there through regular church service and through weekly life groups where we get together and study God’s Word! I now hang out outside of the church setting with a lot of the people that I’ve met there, and the summer volleyball courts are always hopping with the young folks from my FBC life group. We support each other spiritually by prayer, financially when someone is hurting, and just by being friends and spending time together.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I truly had an amazing time! As a first time guest I was a bit nervous but quickly felt at home and at ease! Their Hospitality Ministry is absolutely wonderful! They truly preach the Word of God sticking to the Scripture and they are serious about their relationship with Jesus. If anyone is looking for a church Home I totally recommend that if the Lord leads you to First Baptist join! I no longer live in the area but every time I’m in Charlotte I go...

Well, I came here Easter day. I sat outside & listened to the music while reading the reviews. Disappointed to learn Mark Harris resigned. Apparently, you didn't believe him when he said he didn't know the volunteers helped ppl to register & vote. So you sided with the liberals who are out to destroy anyone conservative. I'll find another...
