Cadence Coffee Company — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I want to share an unfortunate experience my partner had at this establishment from a staff member with blue hair. During a severe thunderstorm, he was sitting outside, waiting for his dad to pick him up. Seeking shelter from the rain, he was met with hostility instead of understanding. A woman from the premises sharply ordered him to leave and even threatened police action.

While maintaining order is important, the lack of compassion and respect shown during such a distressing situation was deeply disappointing. This business should train their staff to handle similar situations with empathy and respect. I hope this feedback encourages the establishment to improve their customer service to ensure everyone is treated with basic human decency that they claim...

Love that they open at 6:30 am and the location is really convenient downtown to Cherry Street clubs and art alley, etc. Loved the Irish coffee I had with Oatmilk and banana oat vegan muffin topped w peanut butter n honey. I also love the mission of this place to help the community and homeless and downtrodden, etc. They have some cool items in their gift shop including mugs, stickers, coffee, and shirts. Nice paintings and photos on the wall. It is a very large coffee shop, the biggest I’ve seen in Chattanooga. They also have a small bar to sit at outside facing the alley and 7th st. We went to support a fellow church member who was participating in a songwriters round robin singers night that started at 7pm on a Saturday night in downtown Chattanooga. So many very talented Christian music artists shared in 20 minute increments of uplifting songs that they wrote about living life with the saving presence of Jesus Christ in their hearts.
