A recent evening at Company, the speakeasy nestled in the Kinley Hotel in Chattanooga, TN, proved to be an absolute treat. Ensuring a time limit with a two-hour reservation, we slipped into an atmosphere that exuded a timeless, yet chic allure, with a dash of sultry mystery. The delectable aroma of our gourmet dishes wafted through the air, meeting our expectation with every bite. Equally as enticing were the inventive cocktails, mixed to perfection, each sip delivering a new note of complexity. This place certainly elevated our ‘speakeasy’ impression, from the decor to the gastronomy. Whether rendezvousing with friends or rekindling romance on date night, Company seems to offer the perfect backdrop. With their multifaceted approach to dining and a zest for delivering quality, the establishment uniquely transcends the mainstream, making it an essential visit in Chattanooga. All in all, it was a retro-chic affair that left us anticipating our next soiree there.

Alex and Cory were great and so sweet. Extremely great people to represent the company itself I believe. The steak was amazing. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was a great blend on top of it. I asked for Brussels sprouts instead of the potatoes, and they were the best part! I promise I have not had better cooked and sauced Brussels sprouts in my life. The service was great, 3 people from the bar took care of me always checking on me and refilling my wine. The music and vibe is great. Would definitely come back! Alex and Cory were so great at being attentive and making sure you had everything you might need without having to ask them. Super professional and great people. The staff liked each other and actually seemed to enjoy being there which is so refreshing these days. Not sure how much they make, but I’m sure they deserve more! The lighting was nice and dim for a 7:30 dinner with wine. Great place!

Just because we enjoy checking out speakeasies when possible, we didn't know about The Company when we planned to stay at the Kinley hotel. It turned out to be a great spot for a nice dinner and drinks. The Old Fashioned was just right and even had a special ice cube. Like many others, the Brussel sprouts were crispy, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced with bacon crumbles. The charcuterie board was a hit with the cheese, bread, and apricot jam. The meats were also tasty. The salmon was also pretty good - just a little more salt and pepper before the pecans were added to it. The couscous was unavailable, but they substituted it with anything else I wanted. All in all, it's a great spot for drinks and/or dinner and drinks. The staff was super attentive without being overbearing or overly present. We'll be back again.

Ambiance was impeccable. However, the rest of it….. needs lots of help. We sat down at the bar - still had the last person’s drinks and such, no one came to clean it. We eventually just pushed it to the edge of the bar and asked for someone to take it. It took about 15 minutes before we had to ask for a drink. The original waitress that took our “drink order” didn’t really handle us or check on us from that point on. From there, every conversation and encounter with someone had to be initiated by us. Deviled eggs and fries were great! We sat and sat waiting for someone to ask about our drinks, no one did. Finally, another bartender came from the opposite side of the bar to ask if we were ok. Got our second drink and then waited and waited on our food. Took about an hour for our food - it finally comes out and it’s cold. We waited all of that time patiently for an hour and the food was not hot or tasted fresh. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a main dish or a date spot, I would recommend the ambiance for a drink or two and dip out. I wish we would’ve chose elsewhere for Valentine’s Day dinner. Just didn’t impress me in any category except...

We went here for my friend’s 60th birthday celebration. While the food was delicious, we did get one order that was salty. However, they rectified the issue by getting us a new serving and it was delicious. Be prepared, menu is limited. They have small shareable servings and only three entrees. I definitely recommend the burger sliders and bacon wrapped dates. The atmosphere is lovely. However, it could use some nice music to complement the vibe. I imagine some jazz, big band music, etc. We told our server about my friend’s 60th birthday but she never made it feel special or offer to bring a dessert. I give it a four star because while there are positive things, it lacked detail and overall the finesse you would expect from this kind of restaurant. I love they serve food until late and our time was after 9pm but again, due to time, we expected at least some light background music. With the exception of the male host who wore suit and overall attire, the staff looked sloppy and overworked. If, I wanted Denny’s vibe, I would have gone there. I would not discourage a visit because food...
