Ambiance was impeccable. However, the rest of it….. needs lots of help. We sat down at the bar - still had the last person’s drinks and such, no one came to clean it. We eventually just pushed it to the edge of the bar and asked for someone to take it. It took about 15 minutes before we had to ask for a drink. The original waitress that took our “drink order” didn’t really handle us or check on us from that point on. From there, every conversation and encounter with someone had to be initiated by us. Deviled eggs and fries were great! We sat and sat waiting for someone to ask about our drinks, no one did. Finally, another bartender came from the opposite side of the bar to ask if we were ok. Got our second drink and then waited and waited on our food. Took about an hour for our food - it finally comes out and it’s cold. We waited all of that time patiently for an hour and the food was not hot or tasted fresh. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a main dish or a date spot, I would recommend the ambiance for a drink or two and dip out. I wish we would’ve chose elsewhere for Valentine’s Day dinner. Just didn’t impress me in any category except...
Read moreWe went here for my friend’s 60th birthday celebration. While the food was delicious, we did get one order that was salty. However, they rectified the issue by getting us a new serving and it was delicious. Be prepared, menu is limited. They have small shareable servings and only three entrees. I definitely recommend the burger sliders and bacon wrapped dates. The atmosphere is lovely. However, it could use some nice music to complement the vibe. I imagine some jazz, big band music, etc. We told our server about my friend’s 60th birthday but she never made it feel special or offer to bring a dessert. I give it a four star because while there are positive things, it lacked detail and overall the finesse you would expect from this kind of restaurant. I love they serve food until late and our time was after 9pm but again, due to time, we expected at least some light background music. With the exception of the male host who wore suit and overall attire, the staff looked sloppy and overworked. If, I wanted Denny’s vibe, I would have gone there. I would not discourage a visit because food...
