We have eaten here twice in the last month. The food is good. If you like spicy you will not be disappointed. If you are sensitive to spicy foods, you may want to discuss with the waitstaff so they can make sauce accomodations (the fried cauliflower is great but all 3 spice choices are hot). However during both visit we had some issues. During the first visit my husband ordered barbecue and it ended up having a small bone in it. He's not one to like bone-in meats of any kind and never eats them, so when one showed up unexpectedly, he had no interest in finishing the meal. The manager was receptive to the problem and offered us a $10.00 gift card. Today we experienced several issues. We were on the terrace and service was rather slow. There was trouble keeping drinks refilled and wait times for food was long. I was supposed to get the strawberry and orange side item as an appetizer and it never showed up...they had to take it off the bill. Also my husband ordered a waffle and the rest of his food came out without the waffle. When the waiter eventually came back after the kitchen served the food (5 min) we said we did not have the waffle. He went to check on it and came back to say it took time to 'oil the griddle'. After some time, he came back again and stated that the waffle had burned. We told him just to take it off the bill at that time as we were done with all the other food, and that we were ready for the check. After 5 more mintues passed, the kitchen showed up with a waffle and apologized for it's appearance, but we told them we had already asked for the waffle to be removed. The food we did get was good...they were generous with bacon on the 'Boring Breakfast' (about 5 slices!) and the biscuit was huge. Both burgers were excellent. But service was off and portions of the order were forgotten, as described. We will probably go back in time, but it will probably be a year or...

HiFi Clyde’s is the best of several restaurants owned by the same company. This building used to be an auto glass store. There are ping pong tables, a stage for live music, and lots of televisions for sports and the like.

Clyde’s has more of a bar vibe (than restaurant) but the food is good and the menu is varied. They have a substantive vegan menu and a late-night menu that’s mostly appetizers and sides.

My favorite thing here is the shrimp po-boy, though I usually prefer a more authentic, New Orleans style po-boy. The Korean Fried Chicken sandwich is also really good and most people will find the beer cheese chips quite tasty.

Tonight I had the hot fish and it was not spicy, which is a bit of a disappointment, but the breading was crunchy and the slaw was good and I ate the whole thing and found little (other than the heat) missing. My wife’s cab-sav was poured what seemed to be a little on the light side.

They have an ok list of regular beers on tap and a few rotating ones from a company-owned brewery just down the street. We were there around 5 and there were kids playing ping pong and older folks eating on couches and hipsters at the bar - a wide range of people, though I suspect there is a demographic shift as the night wears on. There was an older fellow playing ping pong despite his distinct limp and a younger lady with tall boots and a puffy jacket. Those details will matter to some more than others.

The food is good and at this hour you can hear yourself talk. The service is friendly, fast, and accommodating - and the bathrooms are easy to spot thanks to a street sign that you’ll have to go see...

We stumbled in this place late night -passing through. What a find. We got in the door at 9:45pm, they were done serving meals at 10pm, but had appetizers until midnight. Our server was great! She gave us the low down on her favorites. The names were fantastic for the food and drinks. We put our order in right away. Decided to get a Lebowski, which was basically a white Russian slushy (what I like to call an adult milkshake/slushy)When the food came out it was hot and fresh. We were shocked, you know how it is when you walk into a restaurant five minutes before the kitchen closes. You’re never quite sure what you’re gonna get. I got the fried chicken club sandwich, the bread was delicious super soft , bacon was crispy cooked to perfection, the batter on the fried chicken was light tasty crunchy, and the chicken was juicy. They had pickles that were absolutely homemade freshest most delicious pickles I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant so far. I wish this place was closer to home. Would love to go back there. The music that was playing was everything from the Beastie Boys to the Black Keys. Off the chart, swank atmosphere to include miniature pinball machine tables surrounded by Kush seating overlooking old style cinema, red velvet curtains, and 80s Hit movies. Up above the beer, pong or ping-pong table, whichever you prefer was an old style springs of a mattress, light up with colored lights, which was absolutely kick ass. Old style drive-in movie theater sign up above the bar. Just a super cool place with good food,...

Found it! This is the place. For a bit of background, I judge bbq places on first pulled pork and second brisket. Had the pulled pork. Prices were very reasonable. The good: The pork was truley pulled. Its smokey. This is the real thing. Dry, it is still amazing. Lets talk sauces. There is a red hot. Not just hot. Actually tastes a little like cinnamon. The O.G. nice. Has that hint of molasses. Im digging this one. The white, very liquid runny vinegar. Not a true "carolina" but it's in that neighborhood. Not bad. Lilys sweet, has clearly way more molasses. Taste like the old holoween candy. I think its kind of gross. Too sweet. Went with a little og to spice up the meat but trying to keep the smokey meat flavor. Not cover it. The coleslaw has a unique flavor i cant put my finger on. They serve this with coleslaw, pickles, and onion as topings. Its perfect. And this doesnt taste like store bought nonsense. Which also means heavy dill in the potatoe salad so be ready. Even the pickles don't taste like the top grocery store pick. This stuff has flavor. For better or worse. The bartenders were ready with sugestions and had great attitudes. The live music was spectacular. Bathrooms were clean and randomly 90's theemed maybe? The bad: i had to ask for dinning wear and bbq sauce. Thats it. The ugly: nothing. Highly recommended. See photos. Really fun night.
