We had a great time here with friends last night. We started out on the lovely outside deck and ended the evening inside after the sun went down. Our waiter, Zach, couldn't have been better. My husband and I had the "Dougie" pizza, with goat cheese, roasted tomatoes and arugula, and it was fabulous! Our friends ordered the Margarita pizza and the Beyond Burger and everyone was pleased (the fries were especially yummy!) We split an order of the cornbread madeleines - the sweet/hot jalapeño salsa was excellent! Can we buy that by the jar???? Finally, we all overindulged with a rich, gooey, chocolate bread pudding because we just didn't want the experience to end! High Rail is a fine new addition to Chattanooga's dining scene. We will definitely be back.

Had a late dinner here a week ago. The facility is pretty cool set on the roof top. The service however was very poor. I ordered an old fashioned and waited 20+mins to get it. We waited a long time for our main course as well, even though the restaurant wasn't super busy. Our wait staff were pleasant but just weren't attentive to our table. Food was okay, nachos were kind of cold, my wago beef burger was pretty good. A lot of lounge seating. More of a bar than a restaurant. I wouldn't bother going back. When a restaurant has a captive market being in bed with the hotel they often don't have to try hard to stay busy and unfortunately it effects the service.

While staying at the Chattanoogian Hilton Curio, we had two delightful, after sunset visits to the High Rail Rooftop Bar. Drinks were excellent, as were the other menu items tasted. Don’t miss the peanut butter brownie cheesecake. The view from the bar tops is pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxing. Ask about the bartenders drink special—the blueberry lavwnder mojito was surprisingly refreshing. Excellent, attentive and professional service. The bar is a little tricky to locate—it’s on the second floor, down a cooridor of sleeping rooms near the gym.

We made reservations far in advance for a large bridal party dinner (15 people) on a week night. When our party arrived the restaurant was empty though they still had us split up- this restaurant is not suited for large parties as there was only one large table that fit half our group and the other half had to sit at lounging chairs. We later moved to the bar to have a table. Additionally the staff was ill prepared for our group- orders were taken randomly and food came out randomly and spaced out, so some people were done with food while others had their appetizers arrive. Finally, the bartender was initially not very friendly & said she didn’t want us to “wander off” implying that we would dine and dash. To top it off - the bride and groom were the very last to get their food - AFTER the rest of the party had finished their meal.

The menu is not very extensive - look in advance to see if it’s something you’d spend $20 on for a mid plate of food.

Atmosphere is enjoyable and the outdoor area! The ambience and music is good. Our time here would have been more enjoyable seated together so we could enjoy each other’s company in this beautiful restaurant. Wish our experience was a little different and we could have enjoyed our celebratory meals together and at...

Disappointing, I have been there twice now a year apart and both experiences were awful but the night of their “Halloween” night was by far the worst I’ve ever seen. We arrive to maybe 10 people in costumes and people who were in costumes taking up all spaces with heaters. If the night is specified as a costume night why would be people in costumes not get the preferred seating. Regardless service is ridiculously slow expect to wait 20 plus minutes for one drink. After waiting we decided to go to the bar for hopefully faster service. The bartender absolutely ruined the night. Their Halloween party was clearly a bust and instead of making the people who showed up in costumes happy, the bartender had the worst attitude there were maybe 10 people at the bar and we were still waiting 15 minutes the bartender continued to leave the bar thought out the night and was completely unfriendly. After being annoyed for waiting we asked for the check the bartender then threw the check down at my husband. The bartender’s behavior was absolutely disgusting. The only reason I’d even give it a star was because our server before we sat at the bar was very sweet and clearly it wasn’t her fault drinks took forever. Definitely would not recommend and definitely will...

My friends and I went to High Rail at the chattanoogan and our service was lack luster. Our server was colleen (?) and she was incredibly rude to one person in our party. My friend ordered a vodka cranberry and it tasted like Cranberry and water. (I am sensitive to vodka so if a drink smells or tastes like vodka in the slightest I would know). She then asked our waitress for them to remake it or even just bring her vodka to put in it.

Colleen then snapped on my friend saying there was in fact vodka in it and had an attitude the rest of the night. When my friend ordered another drink it was the same watered down vodka cran as before. Coleen came back and told us they were having last call so we ordered another round. Our drinks came and about 10 minutes after we got our drinks colleen asked us to leave the bar because they were closing down for the night. There were still three tables still drinking and enjoying themselves.

As an ex-service industry employee it wasn’t colleen’s fault if a drink was made wrong or not, it is her job to tell the customer that they will look into it and make the experience better. But...
