Jack Brown's proves once again that you don't need a deep menu, or pointless frills, to craft an amazing burger. They invest in what counts: the meat. Who needs lettuce or tomatoes, when your foundation is as solid as wagyu beef. They do offer a creative variety of burgers, and daily specials, in addition to the tasty basics. Of course there are fries, and while they aren't anything remarkable, they are hot, crispy and delicious. Don't forget to check out their beer selection. It's one of the best in the area, and it certainly helps fill the gap left by World of Beer's closure. I can't help but appreciate their beer menu layout. Whomever designed it, with its easy to read varieties and origins, deserves a round on me. On this past visit I had The Greg Brady, a combination of some of the best Mac 'n cheese I've ever tasted and a crispy layer of BBQ potato chips. It was one decadently cheesy bite after another, until I realized I'd nearly devoured the entire thing. They also add one of the most generous dill pickle slices you'll find next to a burger. My companion had The Cowboy, and was equally impressed. She too ate until bursting, happily consuming at a ravenous pace. One nice touch, often overlooked in the burger world is what I refer to as the 'Burger Nappy'. With burgers this juicy, and piled high with succulent toppings, it's nice to not have everything drip down all over your hands. Service was stellar. We wanted for nothing, short of a larger stomach. I cannot wait to go back and dive more into their craft beers. Well done Jack Brown's! Welcome to Chattanooga. I think you'll do quite well here.

Last night a few of us went to this jack browns. And everyone but me had a physical id, I had a picture of my DL and Passport on my phone. I left my id in my car that broke down, and our friends picked us up and we went to eat. But the lead bartender who was serving said he could not serve me food because I didn’t have a physical id, it was about 9 ish pm. I explained I did not want alcohol I just wanted food and that we broke down and had no where to go. He said sorry that’s my policy, I asked for the manager and he said she’s not available I’m the manager tonight. Everyone else already ordered. And he told me I can’t be on the property. So I went outside and he was willing to still serve my husband and friends we are all 30-45yrs old. They just ended up paying for only drinks left no tip and we ate elsewhere before heading back to Alabama. If there is no sign outside the establishment or policy online, I would have appreciated better service. Being that there was no other option for us. We ate fast food and drove back to Alabama.

My wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch. We sat ourselves and were immediately greeted by our waiter. He made us feel right at home. He brought our drinks quickly and explained what they served along with the "something white" sauce. I have to admit it was a little disappointing that I couldn't get a old fashioned Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onions. They do have some creative burgers for sure. I had the Classic Jack. The burger had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. It was a little small. The bun was tasty and fresh. We also had a side of regular crinkle fries. We dipped the fries in the "something" white sauce, which was very good. My wife had one of the best fountain Diet Cokes ever.... It burned all the way down to your toes. All of the staff seemed friendly. Overall, I enjoyed the burger and fries. Will definitely be back for a brew and the Cobra Kia...

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at Jack Browns. I love coming to Jack Browns and this experience made me not want to come back ever again. I brought my family from Houston for the first time. We had a pretty big group, maybe about 15 people. We arrived at 12:20am and the restaurant closes at 2am. The cooks and all the waiters were upset that we came and it was obvious. They were incredibly rude, some of the cooks walked out, half of our friends didn’t get their food at all after we ordered. Our waiter Patrick was the worst of them all. He said that we came in ten minutes after the kitchen closed. It’s the first time that I’ve heard a restaurant close their kitchen 2 hours before closing. After waiting an hour, 5 of our friends didn’t get their burger cause they apparently ran out of meat. They wouldn’t even give fries. The poor night manager, Wag, she just got promoted and it was her first night being manager. Patrick was the worst waiter I’ve ever had. He was rude to my friends, said no to ordering more food, told some of my friends their not going to get their food, and more. It took 15 mins for someone to bring us a menu and to take our order. He even told us “I shouldn’t have to do this” when we told him hey we will help you out to make this simple since there’s a lot of us. It was clear that him and the cooks were upset that our big group came because Patrick’s friends were there at Jack Browns as well, he was more interested in hanging out with his buddies instead of catering to the customers. He was on the clock and did not want to give any customer service to the customers, he made it clear that he did not want to cater to us. Wag apologized over and over again for her co-workers behavior and even gave a discount. We were polite the whole time and didn’t talk back even when Patrick was being a jerk. We tried to help Wag clean up cause the guys just left her alone to clean up so they could go for a smoke break. This was by far the worst customer service, Wag was excellent but her team was not there for her and overall made Jack Brown as a restaurant look bad. It gave a bad impression to my whole family from Houston. I love the food at Jack Browns but I’ll never forget this...
