Memo's Grill — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Ordered two large chopped wiener plates and two hotdogs no slaw on 12/21/24. I don't know what happened but the food taste was atrocious. My cousin had the other chopped wiener plate and she mention that hers didn't taste right as well. It was to tangy for some odd reason😖. So, we both stopped eating our food and I called them about 5 ish or so to let them know our concerns. The young lady was pleasant as I described what I was tasting in my food and she said that their sauce does have vinegar in it and I said that's what it could have been to vinegary?🤔 She put me on hold to get a Mgr to speak with me but she wasn't available at that time and she took my name and phone number for the Mgr to give me a call. I put the food in the fridge just in case thay wanted me to bring it back. I patiently waited and by 10 pm I trashed our food and of course no phone call received from them as of 9 am Sunday...... 40.00 in...

Definitely a must try of long term staple local restaurants. We ordered in the back at a small building w a walk up window on the back side of the building with the sign on MLK. The woman who took the order was very patient and nice. The woman was super nice and brought us our food to the car when it was ready which I thought was superb customer service. Got a small weenie on chilli plate with Cole slaw and it came w three rolls, hot sauce, and mustard. I ended up making sandwiches out of the contents of the box. Everything was tasty to me except wasn’t a big fan of the slaw taste, it had a very sauer kraut taste to it. Reminded me of Beenie weenies since I had never tried it before. I am saddened to give such a low review to this company. I have been eating here since I was a little girl. I drove and 1.5 hours to get a delicious large chop! The food was great as usual, HOWEVER I was overcharged for my latest order from them. My total was $26.81 but after my debit card was already swiped and processed I was told that I was charged $266.81. Since this was a debit transaction they claimed I had to sign the slip of paper in order for them to redo it and process my refund. Not only have I had to wait days for my refund (still have not received my money back) but I still had to pay for my order! That is poor customer service. I was not offered a discount for the inconvenience. As a broke, newly married college student, this was a set back for my finances. All I got was "you'll receive your money when you bank approves the refund." 😳 not returning...
