What a cool little local restaurant!
Overall: I recommend this place for brunch, hurry in before it gets too popular. The atmosphere, location and service alone are enough to get my business again! (More details below)
Service: "KK" was our server and was excellent. He had persona, was professional, moved fast, and added that down home flair that makes you feel right at home. I never had to look for him and he anticipated our needs at the table.
Quantity: The quantities were great! The food came we were very pleased. Serving sizes should fill up an average person based on the size they give you You may need more than two tacos for the brunch If you're a heavy eater like I can be sometimes (don't judge) I'd suggest at least three to four tacos there think of street tacos.
Quality: This place isn't quite a taqueria but it was a good place if you want to enjoy Mexican food or food with a twist things like the potatoes were a bit too crispy for my liking so I suggest that they not overcook those but the food was definitely executed well
Price: One of my favorite things about this place is the pricing was very fair and reasonable You're able to dine on a budget and still get the food you came in for. Even if you just coming for a snack their apps were priced very fair. The drink specials were amazing here. Brunch has $2 mimosas on the weekend!

The food is is very flavorful! My experience has shown me mediocre results in many fusion restaurants, but this place got it right. My husband and I split 5 tacos.

The chips were thin and crisp fried in house. The salsa was a good level of spicy and had plenty of cilantro and citrus.

The best in order for me was CHICKEN SCHWARMA MAHI MAHI LAMB KAFTA BOMBAY CHICKEN CHILI CHICKEN
The first three I'd eat every time, the last two were well seasoned and true to what they were supposed to be, just wouldn't be a regular go to item for me.
My husband gave a similar rating but has the Mahi Mahi as number one and the Bombay and Shawarma as a tie.
Service was quick, with good customer service, the food came out very hot. Major plus!
The atmosphere is nice, the only reason I gave the location a 4 is a big issue to Chattanooga and not the restaurant specifically. Downtown Chattanooga smells like poop 💩 everywhere. It was super bothersome to me especially with so many outdoor eating spots. I had to tell my husband if we walked in and I smelled poop we couldn't eat here, because they have a large window that stays open. I want people to know me, the real me. Behind all the silly words, heartfelt reviews, and astute analysis hides a man with a big heart, medium brain, and small stomach. I can eat 3 tacos though.
I am known around Chattanooga as one of the premier Google reviewers. At the meetups, they call me "the bad boy of Google reviews." That being said, when I have walked in to the Bollywood Taco and Bar on a handful of occasions, they treated me like a regular guy. There were no goodies on the house, no special service. Just good food, great service, and the respect of anonymity.
Yesterday, I went with a few of my friends. The staff was fantastic. They treated me like I was equal to all my nonreviewing peers. Our waitress helped my friend Colton order. She left quite the impression on my friend Bryce who left a generous tip in return (if you were our waitress, comment below and I will send you his contact information.)
Bollywood and Tacos?!?!?!? There is no way those things can mesh!!! I hear that all the time. Maybe take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself why you believe that. They are delicious. get the Mahi Mahi. It is caught straight out of the local river. Highly recommend.
