Food was expensive for what I received. Small portions. Very expensive black bean burger sandwich. Could be nice, but lacks any interactive quality.
The staff were obviously bored. I don't understand having an employee with a lot of free time. Not just labor, but offering concepts, analyzing prospective plans, and helping to implement diverse planned growth. At least chit-chat with customers instead of between staff.
I suppose people pay a premium for the multiple TeleVised (TV) sports environment. Good for groups maybe.
If there is a way to hear the game on each TV through a cellphone, it wasn't told to me by the waitress. No signs made it obvious. So watching the games without sound is a waste, and not at all interesting; for me.
Having a 2-digit number on each TV, and a mobile app for Android and Apple for Wild Wings Entertainment would allow customers to tune into whatever games they are watching and listen without distracting anyone else. $1 Wild Wings ear buds (20 cents wholesale) sold by the handful; nice profit margin.
The initial basic app would pay for continued app development. Making it easier for customers to choose Wild Wings as a first to consider choice in entertainment.
The app would also allow for ordering and paying by the table number, so service people have more time to interact with customers. Paying through the app also reduces theft by employees. Apps are not hard to build.
The same app can provide a 1-button Google map of the area's Wild Wings.
The same app can support game betting and odds where allowed by law. Setting up Wild Wings at casinos nationwide.
The same app can provide 1-button Uber/Lyft service for coming and leaving if planning to drink.
The same app can provide a schedule for all future televised games, so parties can be planned.
The same app can help customers automatically set up parties. Providing an RSVP guest list, and an email for each invitee that includes downloading the app. A schedule of games to be televised during the party. A complementary digital gift for each person attending the party: music, apps like a task manager, sports trivia...
There are so very many things that a Wild Wings app can do to grow the business. I can think of many more.
However, most businesses suffer from Administrative Mafias that stifle growth. Loyalties are developed and rewarded, despite incompetence. Opportunities allocated to the undeserving; killing employee passion to serve the mission.
Organization Corruption is the unethical and/or illegal "allocation" of organization resources and/or opportunities.
Most large businesses have no active ethics department to convert corruption into diverse managed growth pathways.
I hope Wild Wings doesn't waste hard earned capital on employee wages that have no passion to serve the mission.
All of this came from having lunch at Wild Wings, and what I saw while I was there...
Read moreI just came from the Citrus Heights location. I dropped in there to have a bite to eat and a couple beers. As soon as the waiter dropped off my food he disappeared. He didn't make sure I had napkins or ketchup and he never came back to see if I needed anything else. When he dropped off the food he asked if I wanted another beer. Yes I ordered another beer. After I don't know how long, I noticed a beer sitting at the end of the bar. I approached the bartender and asked her if that was a breaking bad sitting at the end of the bar. It was my beer. While waiting for my food at my table I made a balloon Rose. I didn't know who I was going to give it to but, I ended up giving it to the bartender because she deserved it. That's when I return to my table from getting my own beer, I realized I didn't have napkins didn't have ketchup and I didn't know where my waiter went.
I finally went over and got my own napkins and ketchup. The interesting part was that guy never did approach my table ever again. I approached the bartender again and asked her if I could pay my bill through her. So I paid my bill and left.
As I was outside someone from B-Dubs ran up to me and said I didn't pay my bill. Funny how they suddenly noticed me. I told the woman that I paid it through the bartender because my waiter never showed up at my table ever again. I told her I had to get my own beer I had to get my own ketchup I had to get one on napkins and I never saw my waiter again.
I walked back in so she could verify with the bartender that I paid my bill. Of course I did.
My goodness, it's pretty ridiculous that not one person approached my table to make sure I had everything I did it needed but then the second I left the building after paying my bill they noticed me.
I would not have left this review or even commented here except for being chased down after paying my bill. Try to notice your customers a little bit more. The last time I went to a Buffalo wild wings was in Roseville and it took forever for me to get my food.
I repeat, I don't appreciate getting chased down telling me I didn't pay my bill, when my server abandoned me! When I paid my bill, I noticed him standing in the corner bs'ng with...
Read moreThe wings are great. Other than that, it was quite disappointing, and here's why:
I ordered online and arrived at the pick up counter at the exact time I requested the order to be ready. After I paid, the young lady helping me said the order wasn't quite ready but that it would be about 5 or 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, and after watching at least two other customers come in and leave with their pick up orders, I asked if mine was ready and finally received it. What went wrong to where two people jumped in front of my order, and in the process I was completely ignored? It was not a large or complicated order and I was perfectly friendly during the payment transaction. A simple, "we are waiting on the _ and your order will be ready _" or some type of acknowledgement as other people received their orders would have been nice. The bleu cheese dressing was pretty awful. Watery, no flavor, warm. Next time I'll probably just skip it..... A shame, since the wings are very good and would be even better with GOOD bleu cheese dressing. I love the celery and carrot sticks that come with an order of wings. The way I placed the online order, I asked for one order of celery and one order of carrots. I thought that would mean one bag of each, or two bags of a mix. I was disappointed to open the one bag I received and find three carrot sticks and three celery sticks. I've dined in on prior visits and the wings always came with way more veggies than that. Perhaps they have gotten feedback from other customers saying they didn't want so much of the veggies? Perhaps they noticed a lot of them going to waste? Maybe a good solution would be to offer an option to specify what size veggie order you want? All in all, as I said, the wings ARE good. It's too bad they gave me 3 other reasons to choose someplace else. Maybe you get better service in general if you dine in, so that you can ask for what you want...
