It's not really fair to Citrus Town Center because the rest of the place seemed quite quaint with a variety of stores to shop at ,however my first experience at Citrus Town Center took me to a book store called Half Price Books . I have never sold a book to a bookstore and I had a couple of older Time Life books big picture books in a box like a set with a album of Winston Churchill that was in perfect condition. When I first walked up with the books a very friendly gentleman behind the counter asked me if I had ever been in to sell books I replied no he said it would be a bit that I would be placed in line and told me where to put my books . I would assume that if it was going to take 3 hours that he would have said it's going to be a little bit but that was not mentioned ,also if I was going to wait 3 hours I would think the book would be worth a little bit more than $2.50 because after all that's not even a dollar an hour for my time, and if he had just mentioned that it's possible my book might only be worth $2.50 I think I would have left and saved my time. it's really not his fault he just works there but he could have said to me you know it's going to be a long while and your book is really not worth that much knowing I had never sold a book before and seeing the book I did have online for $102 I thought it would be worth the wait but I had no idea and I will never sell or try to sell a book again I still have my time life set. but its...
Read moreOur favorite Wendy's is here; 3 good Food Allergy Diet options at Wendy's, Panera and Black Angus (I have Celiac Disease and Dairy Allergies) ; 2 other Dining - Round Table Pizza 🍕 and Taqueria; Stores - Sprouts, BevMo, GameStop, HalfOff Books, Dress Barn, Marshall's, discount home store is on the Corner of Arcadia and Greenback, Major Bus Stop Hub with routes to areas all over Sacramento County (this brings in a homeless population) and I have only had problems with a couple of these (most just want a warm place to eat and freshen up). Limited parking during busy pre-meal to after-meal hours; crazy drivers at times. The Panera, Wendy's and Black Angus are my Favorites of these 3 separate Dining Chains. Some stores come and go. Sprouts has weekly sales making food/nutrition and Deli prices bearable, plus Local Farmers stock produce market inside Sprouts, plus Smartphone Apps for many of the Restaurants and Stores, making pre-order of meals easy. Make a shopping list with the Sprouts App, keeping me on-track with my budget. Very clean and...
Read moreThe only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because citrus heights is a dirty city and also the parking lot is weird to drive on. What I mean by that is the flow of traffic is unclear and some spots could easily cause accidents. There is a gamestop I have been coming to since 2004 and black angus is fire. The taqueria used to be good, but they stopped putting out limes, so I dont go there anymore. The chicken place is bomb af and sprouts makes good sandwiches. Bevmo carries lots of good stuff and Marshall's has things I need sometimes. Wendy's is always fresh and never frozen, but its fast food and sometimes they sacrifice quality for speed, understandable. They have good fries sometimes, and sometimes not so good. There is a driving range that is kinda lame and their disc golf sucks. No dogs allowed on the course either. Citrus heights is...
