La Fiesta Taqueria — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

I came to this location for the first time today (previously have only gone to the La Fiesta in Folsom) and I was not disappointed! Everything was just as I had expected, similar to what I have experienced with the Folsom location.

The food is good and very filling. I ordered the veggie burrito for dine-in (without beans) and the food was brought promptly within 5 minutes! My burrito tasted excellent and I felt so full after. Definitely worth it for the price! There was also a chips area on the side where you can choose what salsas and queso you want. I just got the red salsa (on the spicy side for me) and queso, the chips were freshly baked and felt hot to the touch.

The customer service was ok (not much I can comment on as you can choose where you'd like to sit). I love that the workers were able to bring out the burrito so fast! No one came to check up on me, but besides this, I am satisfied with my experience.

Overall, I would recommend getting the veggie burrito if you are a vegetarian like me! I'm sure other dishes would be...

Service is excellent although it depends on the day. Weekends and Fridays are very busy with lines and wait for food. I ordered the crispy pork tacos which were absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The presentation of the food was also excellent. The chips and salsa bar is an excellent addition but the chips were over salted, they were very accommodating when we asked for chips without salt. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. They have three big screen tvs for your viewing pleasure. The decor is beautiful, with a painted mural and authentic Mexican chairs that make it very inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for families or guests who wish to have authentic Mexican cuisine. My husband and I are new to the area and noticed La Fiesta Taqueria had the best reviews in the area, and an awesome salsa bar, so we decided to order a To-Go. After arriving back home, over 10 miles away, we noticed we were missing half our order. I drove back and I asked for an accommodation since I had to drive so far to and from twice and my meal was messed up, they declined. I requested to talk to the manager and he had unfortunately just left, the two young girls (looked to be possibly high schoolers or fresh out) upfront wouldnt give me his name and had a horrible attitude. After asking half a dozen times they finally revealed his name. I understand he isn't there, nor available but I wanted his name so I can call back and speak to him when he was available.
