I have been going to this Citrus Heights Marshall location for at least 15 years, and today was the worst experience i have ever had at this store. I had a total of 6 items to purchase, and when I was at the cashier and 2 of my items (a 2 pack pillows and a Halloween decoration) did not have a price tag. The cashier called for assistance for a price check. A mature lady brought back a 2-pack pillows what she "thought" was a similar item and tried to say that the pillows cost $39.99. The pillows she brought were not the same size as the ones I was trying to buy. She said it's $39.99, it's not the same size but it's close enough, she said with a smirk on her face. I said, no. Why are you trying to charge me more for something that's not the same size?. I said, "Are you trying to be funny?. She came back with a seasonal 2- pack pillow for $24.99, similar size and shape. At the same time, there were at least 2 people trying to hunt down what the price for this Halloween decoration. 2 of the sales clerks were calling all the stores (Roseville, Natomas, Rancho Cordova, etc.) and could not find the same Halloween decoration anywhere. This item is an outside/inside Halloween decoration. It had a pumpkin head with a top hat and about 36 inches tall. I checked the Marshall website, and this item was not available online or any other store. So, one of the clerks called an off duty manager, and that manager came up with an amount of $100.00 - sight unseen. I felt that they just made up an amount. The item was not in great shape. It had a lot of scratches and scuff marks everywhere. It was not worth $100.00. There's nothing on the website similar to this item that costs $100.00. I felt they were just came up with a price, and they didn't care. My husband and I stood at that cash register for over half an hour (at least). This was the worst experience I ever had at...
Read moreI visited this store Tuesday October 3rd 2017 about 30 minutes before closing in which the entire staff was completely rude and unhelpful. Associates were giggling on the sales floor ignoring customers. 5 minutes to closing one of the sales reps in the ladies lingerie told me I needed to go up front for which they were closing and was extremely nasty about the situation. As I was making my way to the front I believe she was the closing supervisor on duty in which she very rudely told me that I needed to go to the front to cash out that they were closing. When I informed her that the other woman back in lingerie had stated the exact same thing and I'm not so flight Town either as she was doing the same the lady became extremely defensive to the point that I felt completely uncomfortable and I left the store without my merchandise. These employees need to realize that the only reason why they have their job is because of customers that shop and spend good money like myself. I was going in this evening to spend a few hundred dollars but because nobody help assist me and what I was looking for not to mention the and welcoming atmosphere that the associate and closing supervisor had towards me chest into putting a bad taste in my mouth and the merchandise that I was going to buy averaging about $50 I walked out disgusted and refuse to ever come to this location and are possibly any other Marshalls Ross or TJ Maxx for which of these are the type of employees at this company is going to hire they don't...
Read moreI normally like this place. But on Father's Day, I had gone in and found some really good stuff on clearance. Something I found in the clearance area was marked wrong. The very new and yonder man looked at the item and looked at me, and walked away with the item and scanned it with a different scanner, then went to a manager, then they both come back and asked where I got the item from. I told them it was on the clearance rack, and they then said it was the wrong tag on the item. The way that they were going about made me feel as if they thought I had put the wrong tag on this item so that I could get it for a cheaper price. They made me feel like I was trying to pull one over on them. Had they not treated me like a theaf, I would definitely go back, but I'll be going to...
