This place is really special. Health wise it is a gem, both in Long Beach and on the Boardwalk! Truly an amazing atmosphere, with window seating looking out on the ocean, reggae music playing and the interior is so peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. I found my whole experience eating here incredibly nourishing and joyful. The food is delicious and I ordered the double protein option which was more than enough food, I had leftovers! My only feedback would be that I would love a larger portion of grain or starch in the salad, a nice helping of quinoa or sweet potato instead of it being more of an add on/garnish. And a fruit free juice option please! But a clean living, 100% gluten free, build your own bowl place on the boardwalk?! 100 stars!!! Thank you, thank you for making this...

I absolutely LOVE Barrier Beets. Finally Long Beach has a high quality health food place that is conviniently located right on the boardwalk! You can tell BB's was created with a ton of love and passion as soon as you step in!! The owner Toni's personality has shined through each detail of the place. Her infectious smile and positive personality is shines through the atmosphere of the place as well in her employees that greet you with their bubbly personalities as soon as you step in. I know how The food provides healthy options for all and I LOVE the premade juices! They have found a way to make healthy eating fun and enjoyable!! A wonderful lunch during their soft opening recently. Can’t beat the view from their window seating! I’m so glad they’ve added a healthy eatery right on the Long Beach boardwalk, offering more than just burgers, fries, and ice cream. Great portions, and you can even build your own salad. My mother and I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients. The owners even came to our table to check on how everything was.
