Dunkin Donuts is combined with Baskin-Robbins on Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville Tennessee. Donuts and Ice Cream. What is not to love but everything.
First off, the employees working at the Dunkin hybrid are exemplary. Very nice, very pleasant and very helpful. Really, the employees are awesome. Now for the not good.
Dunkin was known for donuts. Doughnuts. Dunkin never had good donuts and still don't. Those of us at a certain age will fondly remember Don's Donuts on Madison Street. Man those were great donuts. Currently, I recommend Whistle Stop Donuts if you want a great donut. What Dunkin is known for today is their coffee. Coffee or the preparation of coffee is the main focal point of the interior business. The coffee portion looks modern and definitely out of place next to the out of date Baskin-Robbins part.
Baskin-Robbins. The pinnacle of chain ice cream places. Baskin-Robbins is the destination when ice cream is craved or desired. Sadly, the combination with Dunkin Donuts has ruined Baskin-Robbins. Although there are 31 flavors, there are ONLY 31 flavors. Many of the flavors you enjoyed before may no longer be carried, not because it is discontinued, but the space was taken by the Dunkin Coffee and Donuts. Want a banana split. Sorry, no bananas. Unbelievable amount of frost in the freezer holding the ice cream. I don't know what is more distracting, the dirty glass to see the ice cream or all frost surrounding the ice cream.
Most people will probably go to Dunkin and use the drive thru and get coffee. To those people, this entire review will not apply. To the people going to Baskin-Robbins, the review is very accurate. Baskin-Robbins is the best ice cream around but the hybrid model together with Dunkin Donuts minimizes the focus on Baskin-Robbins to an afterthought. Maybe go for the coffee or the employees but...
Read moreI probably won't be going to the Wilma Rudolph location again. I used my free drink app reward to cash in on a Charlie Cold Foam. Pre-ordered 3-4 cars back. Waited at the intercom for a while, when I got to the window I could see the attendants making coffees but didn't see mine. Finally someone came to the window and asked if I had a free drink and purchased assorted munchkins. I said yes, so she went to making my drink. I watched her pour coffee over a little scoop of ice and spray whip cream, sprinkle cinnamon and walked away from the drink. Came back and put a lid on it. When I took a drink, it tasted terrible. No flavor whatsoever so I waited for her to come back to the window and asked if it had caramel in it(which is the flavor it's SUPPOSED to have) and asked if the "cold foam" she put in was just whipped cream. She said,"Oh I don't know what it's supposed to be honestly, I've never had the cold foam." So I said, I can't drink this. She said she'd remake it and I handed it back. More time waiting in the drive thru, 9 months pregnant with 4 other children along with me. I simply wanted a cold treat on a humid/hot day. When she came back with the drink, it had ZERO ice in it so it was warm and I had a grocery trip to make so I ended up leaving my drink in my car, taking it home 2 hours later and put ice in it. The cold foam was already dissolved and the cinnamon sprinkles fell to the bottom. I'm pretty sour that I wasted my free reward on such terrible service. The people making these drinks need to put more time and thought and maybe even experience drinking them to better serve the public. I used to be a barista so I know there's more she could've done to...
Read moreThrough the drive through, ordered a coffee. When we got it, it wasn't made correctly (we order the same drink every day). Waited at the drive through window for about 15 minutes before anyone came back to the window. When the worker came to the window I explained it had been made wrong and asked to speak to the manager. The worker stated that the manager was not there today. I asked to speak to someone in charge and she stated that no one was in charge, there were were only two people present at work. I explained that the coffee had been made wrong. She pointed at the label. I said the label is correct but the drink was made wrong. We buy the same thing daily. She re-made the drink. I thanked her and we drove off, My daughter asked why I thanked the worker since she was being very rude to me (a lot of attitude). I really didn't have an answer for that. 8-31-2025 at 2:20 pm. You have cameras, so just check them. By the way, we are guessing the worker made the second one wrong also. Thinking the worker used the incorrect milk, we asked for skim milk. How do we know, my wife has an allergy for regular milk. We got home, she drank it, and had an allergic reaction. On top of what was perceived as a bad attitude, we also sat at that window for about 15 minutes with a line of cars behind us. That means while Dunkin Donuts is paying their workers, Dunkin Donuts wasn't making any money from the line of cars behind us...time is money folks. Mistakes will be made sometimes, that's natural. What's not natural or good for business, bad attitudes and poor customer service. Those things cost businesses money. Just my opinion but won't stop by here again anytime soon. Check the...
