Gerstle's Clearwater — Restaurant in Clearwater

Gerstle’s has been our favorite go-to restaurant/bar since they have opened. They have live music almost every night with the exception of Trivia Tuesdays (which is super fun). The happy hour is great! It runs from 11am to 7pm everyday and every beer (and seltzer) they have is $3.00 for 16 oz. Anything from a delicious craft IPA to your regular light beers. You can’t beat it! The food is fantastic! Our favorites are the Turkey Club, grouper sandwich, grouper tacos, shrimp tacos, calamari and fried pickles. I personally think the grouper sandwich is the best on the beach. More than all of that, it’s just a great place to hang out. The entire team of bartenders- Jasmine, Jaclyn, Al, Brooke, Scott, Phil and Danielle are fantastic. Mike the manager has to be one of the nicest people you will meet. Even the kitchen staff greet you with a smile and make it a point to make you feel welcome. The restaurant itself is quite large and is great for larger parties, and the bar has plenty of seating inside and outside. Put it on your list of places to visit when you come to CWB, just make sure you leave two seats...

My first and last time at this place. My girlfriend slipped and fell upon entering from apparent small water spill. Spoke with manager who does not offer concern nor sympathy for her injuries instead he sarcastically denied water spill on the floor followed by insulting and insinuating she should be wearing flats in place of her small wedges. He commented he made an incident report but failed to ask for her name and phone number for proper report. He later lied and told our mutual friend she faked the fall for free drinks ( appalling considering the humiliation from the fall) Subsequently we ended the night 10 minutes from entering escorted out by manager who lack human skills not to mention manger skills. I spent the week on vacation in Clearwater Beach and the first night I was walking down the street and was drawn in by the music coming out of the bar. I proceeded to spend another 4 nights throughout the week meeting some great people that work and frequent there. From the lovely bartenders Noelle, Gaby, Jaclyn, and others to the friendly manager Mike, and the rest of the staff I had the pleasure to meet. Service was incredible across the board, drinks were delicious, music was fantastic and there was no way I was finding somewhere else to go while I was here. I can’t wait to find another excuse to visit Clearwater Beach again so I can go to Gerstle’s. Thank you to Mike and your wonderful staff, I felt so welcome. Please share this with them.
