I. Can't. Even. Yes, seriously, I can't even begin to describe what a pleasurable experience my visit to this establishment was tonight.
The staff were all super helpful and friendly, and this clean, quaint, shop has clear, bold menu and flavor options posted quite visibly to aid you in making your selection.
One sample of the peanut butter fudge ice cream flavor and I knew instantly I had made the right choice.
A generous portion of ice cream was provided to top off a waffle cone and, eating outside on a warm summer night, it was expected that it would be just a bit messy, but the reward at the end of the cone was sooooooo worth it!
The meltings infusing the peanut butter fudge ice cream flavor into the slightly soggy waffle cone and then blending with the chunk of ice cream left in the bottom was amazing!
I obviously highly recommend a visit to the shop if you are in the area, and was actually so impressed I was giving reviews to passerbys and telling them they should stop in and...
ย ย ย Read moreThe only reason people have been calling it dirty in the bad reviews is because it's old. It's got an old theme and feels very cozy. It has many cool features and friendly staff. Last but definitely not least is the ICE CREAM. The ice cream in one word is fantastic. I was in our hotel scrolling through places to get ice cream and this place immediately caught my eye. The fact that it has 40+ ice cream flavors, floats, shakes, and more is simply amazing. The only downside of my experience was that I asked for 2 scoops of banana cream pie in a waffle dish, and they didn't have any more waffle dishes. The girl serving us informed us there were no more, and immediately came up with a solution. I happily walked out of the shop with a bowl of ice cream with a waffle cone sticking out of the top! Don't listen to the bad reviews because this place was...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a small ice cream store located on Mandalay Bay, just minutes from Clearwater Beach. They have an assortment of flavors, I tried Cookies N Cream, Coconut almond, Pistachio and Red velvet. Out of all of these the Red velvet was my least favorite. It had a distinct cream cheese flavors to it.
I ended up going with the cookies n cream. The ice cream scoop size was not too generous. Not too small, and not overly generous either, but seemed to be on the smaller side (see pic). The ice cream was rich and flavorful and they had actual chunks of Oreo cookies that was in each bite. I got mine in a cake cone which was very good as well. In total, 1 scoop in a cone was $4.50.
Overall, this is a nice little place by Clearwater Beach to grab some ice cream from. I'd stop by again to try another flavor, but don't expect to get a...
