Maui J's Shave Ice Truck — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

One of the best experiences I've ever had I at this moment can't remember what the main guy that works in there name is but he was extremely helpful with me and my family with suggestions on what to get and I didn't regret it my kids got a rainbow style and they fell in love with it I myself got a wedding cake with condensed milk and honey boba and my mouth fell in love will be coming back for that and my wife got the green apple, the only downside to the day is the amount of bees that were out there and we couldn't completely enjoy our snow cups intact we had to throw them away because it was becoming to much but other then that great snow cones two thumbs...

Maui J’s is located on Cocoa Beach Pier. It’s an okay option if you’re looking for a treat while at the beach but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it. I’m a fan of other types of ice like Pelican’s and Jeremiah’s and when you’ve had those, this one doesn’t compare. The flavors are watery and you can barely taste them and the pieces of ice are larger and not shaved as fine as others. I do love the bowls they’re served in which probably accounts for the pricing....

Learned that this place is longer a food truck, but once we found the spot up on the pier, it was totally worth it! The staff were super friendly and offered great suggestions on flavors. The only tricky part was figuring out their hours, online it said they were open until 7, but when we showed up around 4 one day, they were already closed.
