UP at Smoke rooftop bar — Restaurant in Columbus

Turn the music down. There is no reason it should be that loud after 1am, on any day of the week. Let alone weekdays after 8pm when no one is even there. Completely empty. Music is still loud and obnoxious. Sometimes the bartender isn't even at the bar. I promise, no one is going to your bar for the music. So playing it louder isn't getting you any business. If anything all you've done is annoy two whole buildings of residents. Most of the positive reviews on here are for the restaurant downstairs, so don't be fooled.

Nobody is even dancing on either weekdays or weekends. There are multiple aparments on the same street. It's pretty clear this place only cares about making a quick dollar, and not building community. But that's their perogative. Your money would be better spent elsewhere. They play the same music every weekend. Every. Single. Weekend. Why even have a DJ? You can just make a playlist yourself...

If it had not been for Olivia, our waitress, the rating for service would've been much lower. When we first got there, we were ignored for a few minutes, even after the blonde bartender had seen us standing there. She did not address us at all for a while, and after she did, she was rude and standofish (like she either didnt want us there or would have preferred not to have to deal with us). Thankfully, everything was much better after Olivia started taming care of us. She was sweet, bubbly, caring, and extremely kind.

As for the food.... dang man!! It was truly delicious and extremely decent portions. We had the quesadillas, burger, patata potato, nachos, and the Ruben sandwich. We would definitely come back for the food, hopefully having Olivia...

I will not be going back. I ordered a drink and couldn't drink it due 5 leaves of mint. When asked if I could exchange for another drink, I was told no. All alcohol sales are final. First, I do understand policy, but paying customers taking one sip of drink and not like it. Surly, there is something to do to be done. Once the manager, who was the bartender, came over, explain the issue. She became rude and offended, took the drink off the table, and still charged me for the drink. Mmm, ma'am, you stole my drink that I was going to choke down and still charged me $11 for it. Also, it took 1 hour for appetizers to come out and 1 1/2 for the main course. P.S.
