Beyond Juicery + Eatery — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

When this place first opened I gave a 5 star review because of the genuine care and interest of the staff towards me when I would order here, which was frequently. But now unfortunately I have to retract that statement because of an experience with my daughter I was not expecting, and since I couldn’t find a resolve with management privately some time ago, I decided to take my complaint here. My daughter was hired in the early summer of 24 right before school let out. and to MY KNOWLEDGE she worked all of her shifts and showed up when she was supposed to on time (even though when I would make her schedule like I was asked to (because she’s a minor and has to work around my schedule it was never honored.) But nevertheless. School ends, she works a little bit but not much, next thing I know she was fired without reason or rhyme when I tried to make her schedule for the summer I noticed her bead kicked out of the system.. I tried reaching out to Taylor, the once kind young manager there. But no reply of course. It’s unfortunate because my daughter goes to with these people and encounters them on a regular and of course they act like they don’t know her. I’m disappointed because that’s not the people I thought I knew before and regardless of how “friendly” one might seem, at the end of the day you’re not one of them so they will play you in your face. I thought we would have at least gotten some kind of conversation or warning if something was wrong, but if there was anything, we definitely didn’t know about it. And I haven’t spent my money at a beyond juice, ESPECIALLY this location since! Not that it matters to them where my black dollars go. But this has deeply impacted our family and it needed to...

They are the most caring, compassionate, intentional and empathetic staff I’ve ever encountered from any food establishment! I am on a paleo vegan diet and I had some questions about what would work best for inflammation because normally I just stick to my faves, but I wanted to be more specific with my restrictions, so everyone pitched in to help me decide. I just had a procedure done days prior to me coming in the store and I wasn’t feeling all the best (I usually do carry out orders from here) But the staff was so patient and so kind towards me and my little son. Making sure I was completely satisfied and comfortable with the amount of turmeric and ginger I asked to be added to my Dimmer smoothie. When the lady brought it to me at my seat, it was a little strong, but I wasn’t tripping or anything, I was willing to take it as it was… but the nice lady (she may be the owner or the owners wife, not sure, I didn’t catch her name) she INSISTED I not walk out of there without it being perfect lol. I felt seen, I felt cared about, I felt advocated for. If you all read this Beyond Juice in commerce, I love how you all treat people from all racial backgrounds as if they were your own family! I was second in line to order. Once the person in front of me finished, the cashier thought it’d be a good idea to step away and ignore me, eat his food and chat right around the corner - an earshot away from the register. I had to call out for someone to get his attention to help. He came around the corner mouthful, chewing his food. That’s the second time I came in and the same cashier is chewing on food while finishing up my order. My card didn’t go through the first time, but the cashier was already gone around the corner, eating and yet again I had to call out for service. Came around the corner chewing again.
