We placed an order over the phone when I got to the store. I added a sub and Kyle dropped the sandwich while he was wrapping it on the ground picked it up, continued wrapping. It looked me in my face as if nothing happened and dropped it in the bag with my other sandwiches smooshing my chips And honestly, I was completely horrified. I have worked in restaurants half of my life and never in my wildest dreams would I drop something on the ground and then put it in a bag, especially right in front of a customer. I spent the whole day in the hospital because my grandfather passed away and all I wanted to do was get a sandwich to eat and honestly he's lucky I didn't take out my frustration on him right then and there in the store this was the worst $44 I have ever spent in my entire life. The cheesesteak was the worst cheesesteak I have ever had from a Jersey Mike's or anywhere else. There were hard pieces of almost cartilage like material in the sandwich and I almost broke my tooth. I will definitely not be coming back to Jersey Mike's anytime soon especially if I don't get a refund. And if you guys don't believe me, go back and watch the store footage for the recordings I'm sure you will be just as disturbed as I was if they do these things right in front of you what do they do when no one is watching them?!!! Read morePlaced a mobile order. Went in and picked it up. Upon checking my order when getting back to my car, my sub was missing items. I went inside and mentioned that my sub was missing bacon and other items. An employee said okay we will re make it. A person behind the counter yells " I didn't make anything wrong, if it was wrong then it was the wrong sub" In the meantime the same employee that took my sub back said there only bacon on this pointing to the receipt and I showed my email receipt and mobile order receipt showing the items. I was understanding and patient but did not understand why the two woman working were so hostile and rude. I understand it was a busy time but customer service and experience comes first. No apology was ever said. Only she will remake it, which then created the hostile commenting from two workers. I have never felt so uncomfortable and belittled from attitude from staff at an establishment. I appreciate my sub being remade but not appreciative of the attitude and rudeness of the women who made and gave me my sub. Terrible experience will not be recommending anyone to go to...
Read moreThis location really needs to improve on communication and consistency. I ordered online and picked up in person. The staff confirmed my name and handed me the bag, but when I got home, I found two sandwiches made on the wrong bread (because they had run out), some missing ingredients, and bread that seemed stale.
The most frustrating part is that no one mentioned any of this when I picked up the order. If I had known, I would have canceled instead of being stuck with food I didn’t want. On top of that, the meat portions have been inconsistent, and the sandwiches overall haven’t been made with consistency in general—this is the third time I’ve noticed issues.
I will say the staff has always been nice, and honestly that’s the only reason I’ve returned as often as I have. But before this location opened, I always went to the 12 Mile & Farmington Rd location and sometimes the Novi Rd location, and I never had these problems.
