Extremely disappointing. I completely understand that places like this need to protect their interests by restricting items like backpacks and bags, but then to take advantage of you for that is over the top. We paid over $120 to see calvin harris on 6/6/2015. Considering the money we were spending I guess I had different expectations. We went in with a backpack and bag but were told we had to check them. No problem, except that they wanted $20 a piece - $20 for each bag. Alright, no worries, we'll leave our things by a chair when we get in, put a towel over it, we're good. Turns out they didn't give us towels. They didnt even have chairs to sit on or water available. The only chairs in the place were either the over priced day beds, cabanas or the steps that go into the pool. So we look for a locker and they had the same ones the flamingo pool was charging $10 for. They charged $50 for a locker at wet republic!! So not only do we have to pay $20 per bag to check them, we then had to pay $50 for a locker, after spending over $120 for the both of us to go to the show, and we hadn't even bought a drink yet! The only shade was inside the bar area, but in the SMALL pool area there was no shade to be found unless you bought a cabana! They had warnings about heat stroke everywhere, yet you couldn't even find a water fountain! So we finally decide to get drinks. They sell them in 32oz sizes, which is awesome, except that they cost $38 each and don't come with much alcohol. I hardly had a buzz after 2 of them. I thought of getting a bucket of beer but it was $60 for a bucket!!! The prices were insane.... for everything.
Maybe I'm past my prime for going to something like this, I'm not sure, but I think its more that I feel like we were completely taken advantage of. I don't mind paying good money for tickets for a show, but to not even have a place to stash your stuff at a pool, for the pool to be smaller than they MGM Guest pool, and for it to have NO chairs, no free water and then take advantage of me by nearly forcing us to get a locker, then I guess I do feel a bit taken ...
On top of everything I left my hat in my bag ... and it was HOT out ... I asked how I was supposed to go to the bag check, I mean, we spent $20 for the bag check, only to be told that if I went down, I most likely wouldn't be let back in! I talked to several people, one of whom finally told me to tell them I had to get medication, and then every whisked me thorugh. Yup, I had to lie to get a hat, in my bag that I paid $20 for a bagcheck for, and if I didn't tell them it was for medication then I wasn't going to be allowed back in? SUCH madness.
Save yourself the time when you want to go next time. If you pay to go to the mgm pool you can completely hear the music from wet republic. Just go sit where you can hear it and eat/drink for a fraction...

SERVICE‼️ The service is terrible and the worst. The guy host by the entrance and our waitress, Alison, had zero hospitality. Alison had an attitude, and made us feel completely unwelcome, like she didn’t even like us. Her energy ruined the vibe. We came ready to have fun and spend money, but left full of regret.
Drinks: 😠 Drinks are watered-down and full of ice. Without the ice, the pitcher is only half full, so it’s definitely not the full amount they advertise. Just look at our pitcher in the photo after pouring only one drink. That pitcher cost $136, and drinks can only be ordered in pitcher size.
Food: 🤮 Limited selection and disappointing food. We’re not picky eaters. we can eat just about anything, but we struggled to find something appealing on the menu. The options were pretty limited, and when the food finally came, it just wasnt good. Definitely not worth the price.
CROWD: 🥱 Boring‼️ The VIP cabanas were nowhere near fully booked and there were plenty sitting empty. And honestly, it’s not surprising. The VIP service was far from the VIP experience they advertise.
We also noticed they were giving a lot of FREE general entrance ticket to bring in crowd. And there were also a lot of people leaving early, which says a lot about the overall vibe. Between the weak drinks, poor food, and underwhelming service, the hype just doesn’t match the reality. Definitely not worth the high price tag.
Payment: 😔 One of the biggest letdowns was their policy of not accepting Mastercard onsite, despite the fact that I was able to use my Mastercard online to reserve and pay the deposit with no issue. Nowhere were we warned that it wouldn’t be accepted at the venue itself.
We were already at the pool, ready to enjoy the day, and didn’t have any other credit card with us. They nearly REFUSED to serve us because of this, and even the manager couldn’t offer a solution or make an exception. IT WAS EMBERRASING AND STRESSFUL as I was already situated on the daybed. Thankfully, my husband happened to have his Visa debit card on him, or we might have been turned away entirely after already paying a deposit.
It’s unacceptable for a supposedly VIP venue to have such poor communication and inflexible service, especially when it comes to something as basic as payment. It’s just another example of how badly they handle the VIP experience overall.
NOT RECOMMENDED‼️🚫 Out of all the pool parties we’ve been to, this is the one we’ll NEVER NEVER NEVER...
Read moreMy recent visit to Wet Republic Ultra Pool left me with memories of a truly thrilling and enjoyable day. With the energetic performance by Martin Garrix and the lively atmosphere, it was an absolute blast. I highly recommend attending the pool party in your swimwear, as bringing personal items can be challenging due to strict security measures. However, be prepared for the additional expenses, including entry fees, lockers, and pricey drinks.
The highlight of my experience at Wet Republic Ultra Pool was undoubtedly the incredible performance by Martin Garrix. The renowned DJ's electrifying set had the entire crowd dancing and filled the venue with infectious energy. The atmosphere was alive with excitement, making it an unforgettable party experience. If you have the opportunity to catch a performance by a favorite artist, I highly recommend seizing it.
To fully enjoy the pool party, I suggest going in your swimwear and avoiding bringing unnecessary belongings. Wet Republic Ultra Pool has strict security measures in place, which might restrict what you can bring inside. To ensure a hassle-free entry, it's best to pack light and focus on enjoying the music, dancing, and mingling with fellow partygoers.
Please note that there is an optional check-in/"coat check" of $20 or the option to rent lockers at an approximate cost of $60. While these additional expenses might seem steep, they provide a convenient way to secure your valuables and enjoy the pool party without worrying about personal belongings. It's worth considering the locker option if you prefer to have peace of mind during your visit.
It's important to be aware that drinks at Wet Republic Ultra Pool can be quite expensive. This is a common occurrence at many Las Vegas establishments. However, the vibrant atmosphere, top-notch performances, and the overall excitement of the pool party compensate for the higher beverage prices. Embrace the energetic ambiance, indulge in a few signature cocktails, and let loose on the dance floor.
In summary, Wet Republic Ultra Pool offers an exhilarating experience with its energetic pool parties and top-tier DJ performances. Attending the event in your swimwear, while keeping personal items to a minimum, ensures a hassle-free entry. While there are additional expenses involved, including entry fees and locker rentals, they contribute to a worry-free and enjoyable experience. Prepare for an unforgettable time, dancing to the beats of renowned DJs and immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of Wet...
