Stopped here on our way home from vacation. Not a great experience. The lady who took my order was wearing a cloth face covering but it was only covering her mouth; nose was not covered which entirely defeats the purpose of a mask. Ironically, she (politely) and with good cause asked an older lady if she would wear a mask prior to ordering. My order was a takeaway order consisting of a pasta, 3 kid’s grilled cheese sandwiches, a tuna melt, a veggie sandwich (build your own) and two drinks. The store only had a few customers, the takeaway bins were empty and there was only one customer in the drive up lane. Some of the employees were chatting with an off-shift employee who was visiting. After a rather long wait, I inquired about my order. Another young lady, presumably the manager, stated “It was a larger order, we’re doing the best that we can”. One could argue whether or not an order for 6 meals is a larger order. Importantly, rather than address the issue, she seemed to be essentially shifting the blame on me for making the order. Poor response from a customer service perspective. Food was good. Update: We stopped by again and the service was much improved! Everyone was wearing a mask and the food was delivered efficiently. Joe, the manager, was very receptive to the concerns I posted in my original review and seems to have been an great addition to the management. I am updating my review for a 3 star review to a 5 star review as my previous concerns were related to service which now seems to be too-notch.

To be honest…we were on our way to Panda Express when we spotted Jason’s Deli. So glad we ate here instead. We didn’t know what to expect…walked in like a couple of newbies. Looking clueless the servers were quick to help us figure out the menu. We committed to a Panini and a wrap. We were pleased with our choices…both good. The wrap actually had lots of chicken…it wasn’t overloaded with lettuce…enough protein to make it a meal. Can’t wait to go back because we took a quick peek at the salad bar…kinda disappointed we didn’t order that as well. Already planning our next trip…took a menu home…and even planning a few catering events for work functions. We were filled up on our sandwiches and chips but couldn’t leave without trying the complementary ice cream bar. Cups, cones, soft serve and chocolate sauce. The staff members were all very friendly and accommodating for two old people that didn’t know how things worked at the salad bar and the drink station. We chatted for a few minutes with Joe, the manager…a humble man with a good work ethic…honest attitude just wanting to see what we liked and didn’t like. Couldn’t think of anything we didn’t like about Jason’s Deli…I can see myself bringing my book club friends here for a quiet lunch. But I also imagine the guys will want to grab a hearty baked potato before an away football game. The strawberry 🍓 shortcake with the fresh cream made it all the way home without getting soggy. Very good. Happy we tried something different. Will go back.

!!!!Update!!!!! I believe it was the manager that got ahold of me and mailed me a 40$ gift card so I decided to give it another shot my family and kids loved it me and my oldest got the same everything burnt sandwich my wife got A loaded backed potato and my youngest got the soup and Mac and cheese. All dishes we got was good we all enjoyed this experience a lot more than the last time we went . This was my first time visiting, and my wife and I were excited to try it after hearing great things. She ordered the Club Supreme, and I got the turkey wrap. While waiting, I saw another customer’s order come out—a big baked potato and a hearty bowl of soup—looked great. Then I saw my wife’s sandwich, packed with meat and looking just as good. But when I unwrapped mine, it was a different story. My turkey wrap had barely any meat in it. You couldn’t even tell there was turkey unless you took off a whole pile of lettuce to find the small scraps underneath. I took it back to the counter and asked for more meat. One employee opened it, showed it to someone else, then just rolled it right back up and handed it back to me—basically unchanged. I was ready to ask for a refund at that point. Thankfully, the front-end manager stepped in and gave me a whole roll of turkey to make up for it. I sat back down, rebuilt my wrap, and finally ate. Unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste, and I don’t plan on coming back.

Been here many, many times and always had a good experience. We went here last night and it was not so good. Ordered two sandwiches with chips and two cups of soup. Food comes out and my Broccoli Cheddar soup is missing and there are no soup spoons provided, just two knives. I told the gentleman who brought our food out and he said "no speak English" and went to get someone. It took awhile and then the young man who took our order came over and I told him I was missing a soup (showed him my receipt) and we needed some soup spoons.

I then ate my turkey jack panini which had very little meat on it compared to normal and I opened the bag of baked chips which was 90% air with very little product in it. I finished my sandwich and chips and still no soup. The other person in my party went up to the line to get a soup spoon since no one ever came back.

I then went up to the gentleman who came over to the table and told him I still never got my soup. He then instructed a line worker to get me a cup of soup and the person did not understand or speak English. Finally I got my cup of soup and still had to ask for the soup soon. Soup was warm but not hot which was surprising as I watched them ladle it out.

I then went to get ice cream and saw both lights were blinking on the machine indicating it was probably out. Vanilla was completely out but chocolate did dispense some.

There was a cart by the fountain drinks/bathrooms full of dirty dishes. That should be out of sight and not near where people are getting drinks.

I saw someone who I assumed was the manager but he stood by the door on his cell phone the whole time so maybe he was just an employee. At no time did anyone come to the table and identify themselves as a manager so maybe there was not one on duty. This place is really going down hill which is very...

Customer service is fantastic. The person taking the orders was also taking the phone calls and dealing with a rude/upset customer and handle that conversation like a professional and was kind and courteous and made sure they were satisfied. Additionally I placed my order in the store (they have a drive thru but this was my first time so I didn’t know the menu and it is very overwhelming with such much so maybe a more limited drive they menu would be better) so I waited for it and she let me know there was an ice cream machine at the opposite end of the restaurant for a free cone

Food: The chips are absolutely disgusting , literally everyone who ordered with me threw them out.

Pickles , I was excited for , ordered extra, GOT CHARGED FOR EXTRA, didn’t receive the extra, and the one I did receive that came with the sandwich tasted like soap to me so I think they use some kind of cilantro in their pickling spices. Other people with me did not taste the soap but they don’t have the cilantro soap gene so if you do, you don’t want these pickles

Chicken noodle soup was watery and greasy at the same time, it also had no chicken in it and was overloaded with salt

Pastrami Reuben was absolutely delicious and all the sandwiches ordered by others with me were also delicious I just don’t remember what else was ordered. Pastrami was stacked high and so was the sauerkraut- definitely a packed sandwich. It was a little fattty but pastrami usually is

Hi- thanks for your comment to my review. We will definitely try again as we state the sandwiches were absolutely delicious, but we will just be getting them, no pickles or chips. :) and I want to come back to try the salad bar (hence all the pictures) - but your reply just goes to further my first comment about how the customer service here is...

Jason's Deli used to be my favorite place to eat, but no anymore! Today my daughter and I ordered the salad bar, which used to be all you can eat. I put potato salad and corn salad in my large bowl, but when I went up to get my clean bowl for my lettuce and toppings, I was informed that it was a one serving salad bar now because of Covid. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! How does getting a clean bowl and filling it, increase the chances of transfering Covid? The real reason that you went to the one serving is to save money, not because coming up to the buffet more than once is going to increase the chances that a customer will get Covid. I told the young girl working there that I am not paying for a salad bar that only includes one scoop of potato salad and one scoop of corn salad. I told her that no one informed us that the salad bar was only one serving. She gave me the tiniest little bowl to put my salad in, rather than the large bowl that they usually give. That was a real slap in the face after I was already upset. Oh, and by the way, the salad bar was a mess. Everything needed refilled and food was all around the containers! Then, to top things off, I asked the girl taking care of the salad bar, if she could refill the sliced apples on the salad bar. She told me that they don't have anymore of the apples that they put on the salad bar. That's two strikes......First, we were not told that the salad bar was only one serving, and Second, evidently Jason's Deli was out of the apples that they put on the salad bar and the container was empty. IS THIS REALLY THE WAY YOU WANT TO TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS? If it is, they are not going to be loyal customers for...
