So, some background information. Last weekend my boyfriend ordered the biggest deluxe pizza from here. It came timely and was amazing!
Flash forward to this weekend. We have family here and decided to order out with a total seven people. When I called to order delivery, the first thing I asked was what is your biggest pizza size? The lady proceeded to say an Xlarge pizza. I said ok I’ll have that in the deluxe. I asked for the size because under their artisan pizza menu online they don’t tell you the sizes “those” pizzas come in. They have sizes for the pizza tab but it’s suggests a build your own pizza for those sizes. Nonetheless, after we established the biggest pizza size for the deluxe I continued to give the rest of the order and pay with a card. She says to give them 45 minutes. Well 45 minutes roll around, no food. An hour rolls around, still no food. Off to a great start! Finally, I make a call and proceed to ask them if they are busy because it has been over an hour wait for food that was said to take 45 minutes. Calling to at least know that our food is still coming and they didn’t forget about us. The same lady answers the call and tells me that the order was sent out awhile ago and that it should have been there. I tell her it hasn’t come yet. She then says the drivers name and that he is old and little slower than other drivers(I found that to be quite rude) and said she’d give him a call and would let me know. I say ok, hang up and wait for the delivery and call back. No call back, but a few minutes later the guy does come with the food. Great! That is until I open the pizza and it was smaller than the pizza we thought we ordered two weekends ago. And today we were expecting the same size, not an 8 cut. So, I immediately call and proceed to get the same lady and ask her once again what her biggest pizza size is and how many cuts it was. She tells me it’s an XL and it is 12 cuts. I then tell her that we received the wrong size pizza because it was only 8 cuts. She then starts to ARGUE with me about what I did and did not say and what she did and did not say. I tell her I’m not here to argue, I just want the pizza we ordered. She then rudely tells me to hold on so she can go talk to the owner/manager and puts me on hold. Every one of my guests were in disbelief that she had the audacity to argue with me like that! After a few minutes she returns to the phone and says the manager/owner said that they will send out a small pizza with four cuts to make up for the 12 cuts we expected to get. I say sounds good and thank you and hang up the phone. End of conversation. Tell my family that they are sending out another pizza to make up for it, they are happy that they don’t have to fight over the last two slices since they are only getting one slice each (with an 8 cut pizza) and that they can ALL have two slices now, as originally intended.
A few minutes later I get a call back from the same lady that I’ve been speaking to the whole time saying she’ll have to run my card for $7 and change. I’m like so wait you are going to make me PAY for YOUR mistake? She proceeds to start arguing with me about what she thought I did and did not say and what she did and did not say, AGAIN. I proceed to tell her that I will not be paying for the pizza we were supposed to get in the first place and for YOUR mistake. She then tells me that they’re not going to give out free food! I never expected free food. I PAID for the food we WERE supposed to get and did not get and that they should make it right! I then told her as she is still talking and arguing with me, that they can keep the pizza, we will not be ordering from them again, and that I’ll be writing a review. Worst customer service ever! Especially because in the past we have ordered from them a lot! So here is my review. Total lack of customer appreciation and service with rude employees.save yourself the trouble, don’t...
Read moreNothing bothers me more than when a business would rather just place the blame entirely on the "system" instead of looking into the cause. I recently placed an order online for the Cranberry location because they had indicated that there was a $12.99 large 3-topping special. Because the images were so close, when I thought I was ordering a "Code 42", instead I was ordering a "red top pizza" - which as indicated by the picture, was much too close, imo to clearly distinguish what we wanted to order.
So, I make payment, pizzas arrive and disappointment ensues. When I emailed the store customer service, all they told me was that I had ordered two of the "red top pizzas" and that was it.
"It looks like you ordered 2 of our Red Top pizzas. The banner for that pizza is directly above the banner for the large 3 topping for $12.99. That is what the confusion is from."
And that's it. Not even a "sorry" for the confusion. This certainly tells me that the people running the shop are more concerned about volume instead of quality. Lucky for us, there are plenty of other pizza shops to order from. So, use at...
Read moreI am going to premise this as such.
Pizza delivery time: 5 stars. Driver was courteous, and respectful. Followed directions. Pizza was perfect temp for delivery.
Why 1 star. The pizza was pretty barren of toppings. For 23 dollars, I would expect the pizza to be more than light sauce, and light cheese and light on the pepperoni. I am not going to call, because looking through other reviews, this would only go unresolved, and cause me to be further angry. My order was a Large Pepperoni, with 2 side pizza sauces(Which im glad I got now), i got them for the crust not for the whole pie. I will be contacting Corporate as well, because this is pitiful, that Pizza Hut, and others are cheaper and provide better ratio of crust to toppings. I also will be letting all my coworkers why not to order from here as well. Such a shame because the crust to be honest was cooked to perfection, but a shame to pay top dollar for a...
