Five Guys — Restaurant in Dallas

The restaurant is located inside the Galleria Shopping Mall. The environment and the atmosphere was ok; some napkin and debris on the floor and the serving counter. I saw the staff member was cleaning it. However, it’s on Saturday and lots of people dined inside and kept making trash. The most disappointing thing was the total 36 minutes of the waiting time for just a burger. I thought it’s a fast food chain restaurant. There were lots of people waiting in the front for receiving their orders, as well as so many staff members working and talking in the kitchen. It seemed they did not take the customers’ order and time seriously. There should be the management issue or the staff members did not get trained well to work efficiently. When the staff member called the number for the customer to get the order and no one answered, he just showed the disappointing face, which is really not appropriate. When I received my order, there was no greeting and no smile on his face. I was just disappointed in its service. The good part is that the restaurant has its own restroom inside. You don’t need to go out to find the restroom somewhere in the shopping mall when you are dining at...

This is where I had Five Guys for the first time ever a few years ago and I still come back from time to time!

Today, 11/2/23, I came back to Five Guys in The Galleria and ordered a Cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and a chocolate and peanut butter shake.

The service is super friendly and helpful! They explain the menu and how things work if you have never been. The establishment is clean and there’s always someone on the floor making sure it stays clean! I also love the decor! There is plenty of seating and if you don’t want to sit, there are standing tables, which I think is really cool!

The food and drink is so delicious and I love walking up and being greeted by the staff. When you sit down to eat, the staff make sure you’re good and will always assist you if you need anything. You definitely get a great amount of food for what you pay!

I would give 0 stars if I could. After ordering from a food delivery service at 11:30 I was told my order, a milkshake and fries, would be delivered around 12:30-12:45. Fine I want to have lunch around then too. Then my delivery time changed to 1:15-1:30 okay some holdup at the restaurant and they’re busy I guess. Soon enough my delivery was now being delivered 2:15-2:30. After I called customer service they confirmed that my driver had been waiting at the restaurant from 1. Apparently a shake and fries takes 2 hours to make! I’ll be shocked if this place can serve more than 5 people a day with this kind of efficiency. If they don’t want my money then just cancel my order and don’t leave me waiting for nonexistent food. I’ll never go to Five Guys ever again for their horrible customer service.
