Special ordered a cake. Gave them a lot of freedom with three options to do whatever was easier for them. Either a rainbow with smiling clouds, a shooting star with a rainbow behind it, or a lil unicorn with some colorful flowers around it. I told them as long as it was colorful and cute we would be happy but that those would make my daughter extra happy. I asked for cookies n creme on bottom and vanilla on top to make the colors pop. I ended up with a chocolaty cookies n creme cake with one side of random color swooshes and a one inch unicorn horn 1/4 inch thick on top of the cake that you barely notice and a thin lined pair of closed eyes. Looks nothing like anything I asked for and didn't even get the ice cream flavor combo right. Never been so disappointed. Just praying my 6 y.o. doesn't mind. Wanted to surprise her with an amazing cake and was so excited for this. I'm sad to say that won't be the case this year. Wish I had said something in the store .. but it was a long morning of errands with two kids and I just didn't have the energy or the time to argue it. For future people ordering a cake, be EXTREMELY specific and repeat yourself numerous times if you hope to get what you are asking for. Read moreBurger tasted old and dry. Not hot either. My biggest complaint though is that their online ordering system was down. We tried on computer, phone, wifi, and without wifi with no luck. We kept getting "server error", "404 not found", "issue processing on server", etc. We called to see about ordering over the phone and they told us it was not allowed. Even though their online ordering was down for us. Dallas DQ takes forever, and I spent 15 mins (half of my lunch break) just waiting for my order. I work in healthcare just across the street from this DQ and we cannot always guarantee a full 30 min lunch or even lunch at all, which is why we rely on online ordering. The small salad I received was mostly chunks of lettuce that looked like they were torn from the bottom half of a head of lettuce...big clumps, and also a few shreds of wilted stale lettuce. They also forgot to put tomatoes in it. NO TOMATOES IN A SALAD????? Aside from these issues the salad didn't even fill the bottom half of the container.
C'mon DQ. DO BETTER. At least give customers what they pay for. The cheeseburger I ordered didn't have lettuce on it either.
