Frida Social Club — Restaurant in Dallas

We visited this establishment the evening of the 26th for a birthday dinner. This was possibly the worse experience anyone celebrating a birthday would have ever wanted. Given, the waitress was new, but the manager made no attempt to remedy the situation. We waited for over an hour for our food, and another hour to get our checks. It was obvious the person was new, but why would the manager assign a new person to a big party. What should have been maybe a 2 hour dinner turned out to be 3.5 hours. We reached a point of simply walking to the outside bar for our own drinks due to having to wait 30 minutes and more for a simple cup of water. A more seasoned waiter showed up towards the end of our night/dinner, which acted more welcoming and service oriented than the manager or for anyone in the establishment. Please be sure to double and triple check your checks as just about everyone in our party was over/double charged for their meals. Again, I wish the experience would have been better or that the manager or whoever in charge would have rescued the night, but I'm guessing customers may come second to them? With the exception of another "private" party, we were the only other party present during what should have been...

Beyond disappointing. The food and drink portions are ridiculous compared to the price and especially compared to the taste. The waiter was disrespectful and impatient. To put in perspective, we ordered a drink that usually comes in a pineapple and pineapple slices garnished with Tajín on the side. Instead of letting us know that they ran out of pineapples, the waiter brought us a small glass with the drink in it, zero garnishes, and still insisted on charging us $16 for it. She then proceed to talk down to us as if we couldn’t afford it and ask if she could just pay for $1 off as if that’s what we needed. My husband doesn’t waste a single piece of his food and even he didn’t finish his flavorless entree. Long story short, not a single recommendation is to be given from this place. 30 mins after we are sitting at whataburger eating something with flavor. I also know that someone will comment asking what they can do to make things better for our experience, do everyone that comes after us a favor and stop serving food. It’s a disgrace to Mexican food and even more of a disgrace to Frida. Just change your name to Tommy’s tacos or something. At least then maybe it would make some sense. Not...

Let me start off by saying this is one of the worst places I have ever been in my 27 years of LIFE..!!! The server was so rude to our whole party of 20 people she made my best friends feel like they couldn’t afford a 15 dollar drink which they could, that wasn’t the issue the issue was that we had ordered a Piña Diego which was supposed to come in a whole pineapple but didn’t tell us that they had ran out of pineapple before they had gave us the drink,. She had told my friends that “hey I can pay for that one dollar difference!” The price wasn’t the issue it was the service and the food was ridiculously bland!!!! No flavor we did not enjoy any of our experience there. If you want to pretend you have COVID go their because you won’t taste anything ON GOD….
