Sporting Club — Restaurant in Dallas

The atmosphere was perfect. We came to see two NBA games. We’re a bit disappointed they weren’t on the speakers at 10p when the place was not very busy. But the drinks and food were excellent. Well worth the price point. Corinna was a great host!! However, after 11p, I asked her if we’d need to leave our seats at the bar (because I saw bar stools being pulled as guests left the bar) and she said not likely and she’d let us know if so. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes later, a guy came up behind me and said he had to take up my chairs. So I then had to hunt down an open table that didn’t cost for just me and my guest in a more growing crowd. I would have been happy to move in advance to not have to fight for seating having been here for hours at this point. Came for a birthday party brunch and we had reservations. Waitress barely came to the table and food took at least an hour and a half to come out. It was a bit unnerving because we couldn’t even find our waitress and another one never sent her our way. People who came in and sat at the bar way after we had ordered even got their food before we did. The food finally came and it was okay but I found a hair in my plate. I told my waitress and she took my plate saying they would comp it. They didn’t review our bills before running our cards because they had them already for tabs. When my bill was ran, there was no discount at all and when I questioned the waitress she said she forgot to comp it and would void it since we were leaving. Not sure if that’s going to happen. Absolute insane experience, I never go out anymore and this is why because of shitty people like the bouncer, I go out maybe a few times a year I’m 32 years old and dude had the audacity to tell me I couldn’t get in because he thought my ID was fake, I think his mom is fake for not swallowing him, this Saturday. He ran through everything on my ID. I told him all my information without hesitation and he still said my picture looks Photoshop lol absolutely insane, especially since I will work closely with Dallas PD and they literally have to take in my ID.
