Ilia, showed up to explain his co-owned company. He is Six foot seven, gentle, kind, charming, and sincere. He explained the values and work ethic of ICO. We had lots of questions. He had simple, direct, and honest answers for us. He was refreshing, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. My wife and I are not creative people/artistic people. We were struggling to come up with the vision and possibilities of our remodel. It was fun to have Illia view the space, explain what was possible, and help us to come up with a beautiful design. He is very well suited for this job.

Next, Or, the other co-owner of ICO came for a visit. He explained step by step the entire process from demolition to finishing touches. He came across as thoughtful, analytical, industrious, and definitely in charge of the project and his team. This is one of the few companies where you know exactly where the buck stops. It stops with Or. It was fun to watch him coordinate the electricians, plumbers, and construction teams. It was comforting to see that he accepts only the most professional outcomes for his customers, and is there to actively oversee the division of labor with effective communication and accountability to his customers. Once again, Or is very well suited for this job as well.

Or and Illia, provided a design specialist, at no extra charge, to accompany us and help us pick out the color schemes, fixtures, and textures. Her name was Ede. I personally cannot think of a worse way to spend a day - going to floor and decor, picking out shower tiles and bathroom fixtures. Ede made it delightful. We gave her our ideas and she helped bring them to life. Insightful, creative, kind, and easy going is how I would describe her. She worked diligently to compare and contrast our choices with helpful thoughts and tips. She made the hardest part for us, easy.

Bottom line - our experience with ICO was incredible. We saved up a long time, with a lot of hard work to afford our dream bathroom remodel. We needed to find a hard working, responsible, service oriented company filled with master craftsmen that take pride in what they do. That’s exactly what we got - and you will too. My husband initially chose ICO for our home improvement project, and - though I am usually the one who orchestrates those decisions for our household - I can say without reservation that it was the best decision we could have made.

From the initial design walkthrough to final touch ups, Or and Iliya were responsive, communicative, and professional. They helped us solidify a vision for increasing storage space in our kitchen by creatively suggesting an idea we hadn’t considered - moving our garage door - which ultimately allowed us to build the kitchen pantry of our dreams.

A smaller part of the project included revamping our 70s wet bar to be more functional, removing a sink we didn’t use and building custom cabinetry to match our kitchen and house a new wine fridge and storage. Though the square footage of this area was tiny, the impact of the new storage and look of the bar has elevated our entire entertaining space.

ICO also did a custom paint job and installed wainscoting for our first baby’s nursery room and even installed a custom wraparound shelf for a toy train set.

It’s hard to understate how happy we are with the quality and look of the work. But even beyond that, living through construction was a surprisingly painless process thanks to the organization, creativity, and thoughtfulness of the team leads and crew.
