Spaces Deep Ellum — Local services in Dallas

The office and layout are very nice. Good private offices and comfortable common areas. Building is industrial modern, but the Spaces offices are very comfortable. GREAT VIEWS. I know some folks have issues with billing. Be sure to read your contract and report any errors directly. It's a big company. The reason I am giving this 4 stars vs. 5 (Addison is a 4.5, Southlake location is a 5) is that the parking is a pain. Park in a separate building, separate elevator, and paid $21 for 3 hours. The general area is OK, but still be aware you are in Deep Ellum. The biscuit bar in the lobby is a cool concept, but very limited for lunch. I went in for just an iced tea and it wound up being $4.50. Not a big deal, but it was a tiny cup. No easy snacks nearby. Spaces has coffee. Parking, limited dining or snacks make this a step below the other Spaces and shared office options. Plus, if you read some of the billing issues, that will make you ensure you have a clear contract. Lastly, they closed their McKinney Uptown Spaces in the Spring of 2022. That was THE BEST shared space in town. Sad that they lost that location. Deep Ellum is step down. Please Beware of these people Deceptive Practices they change the my contract from Month to Month to a 12 month contract without my permission have never set foot in the place never signed any contract never got one phone call asking if i wanted to move forward i was only interested in a virtual Mailing address which is $80 higher then anyone else in town i was tricked into believing i needed to hold a space since they were in such high demand please for mailing only so i decided not to take a mailing spot and now they have some so call Collector name Alex S calling and emailing me saying i owe $1400 and have never received 1 piece of mail at this almost impossible place to even find parking so people beware of your dealings besides there are 1000"s of companies providing mailing address for half the...

It has now become customary to contact Spaces every 10 days to ask for my retainer back. It seems like every single time I contact them, a different person tells me the very same thing: to amend my bank details and wait 5 to 7 days. It's been FOUR months since I left Spaces at Deep Ellum and still nothing. I wish I had known this before dealing with Spaces. You may want to find a Better Office Provider than this. UPDATE: Outrageous that they are now replying to this review asking me to submit a ticket again. Very ironic. I hope my review saves a few people who would rent this office...
