So, my boyfriends been wanting to take me here for quite some time. Child hood memories etc. I’m up for an adventure most of the time, and I was skeptical about it, you know, it’s a ploy in movies, “gas station sushi.” But I am happy to say I underestimated this place. We ordered a captain crunch roll, and a gold dragon roll. You can tell it’s freshly rolled by it’s taste. Sometimes you go places and you can tell that’s all they do, all day, is make sushi & then keep it cold. But this is made to order. The ingredients seemed clean and it was made with love. My only con to this place is it could take a good magic eraser & cleaning solution to the cooks walls, (nothing that doesn’t happen on a daily basis, grease happens) & the leather chairs should be cleaned, grease gets in the air & sticks to things like that, no big deal. I worked in the food industry I know how nasty things can get/ seem. Overall a great experience, the men there were super helpful with our order and it was...

Despite it being "truck stop sushi" I have never gotten sick. They are super clean and their ingredients are always fresh. Update: I noticed they have added some new staff. The owner or manager have trained them super well. I asked for my normal accomodations and she told me she didn't know if they could do them and went and asked. Then came back and tok my order. She was super polite about it and apologized for my wait, even explaining that she was still learning. Still the best sushi place, and...
Read moreOrdered for takeout last night, while my girl went to the liquor store just down the way. The food was ready before she even finished. Ordered a Captain Crunch, Baby Raffy, and Spicy Cajun. All were fresh, the rice was spot on, and the spicy mayo was delicious. Everything was on par with any of other sushi places I've eaten in OKC. In fact, it kind of reminded me of the couple times I visited Japan. Sometimes you'll walk into a corner shop and they'll have fresh sushi being made, and it's probably better than the stuff you'll find at the more populated places. Great service, great food, and reasonable prices. Definitely check it out, even if you're worried about it being in a...
