Allow me to paint you a picture. My husband and our dogs had camped out on the shores of the Arkansas River on our big trek west across the country. We were woken multiple times in the middle of the night by passing trains, and finally a boater using the boat ramp around 5am. At that time we packed up camp to hit an early start. Already weary from a long travel day the day previous, we needed some coffee to fuel another long day on the road. We saw that we were 2hrs away from this nearest Starbucks location… so we entered the location into the GPS, rubbed our tired eyes, and drove west as the full moon guided our way, setting along the horizon - as the dusty orange sky behind us transformed into an illuminating blue sky.
We pulled off the interstate and saw that seductive emerald mermaid sirening us into her grasp. As we stumbled into the doors, we were immediately greeted with a bright and cheery salutation by Kyle. Oh Kyle, you sweet savior of a barista.
As the sounds of Cyndi Lauper and The Spice Girls lifted our spirits, Kyle made the most delicious oat milk Cafe Misto, and even used the excess foamed milk in my husband’s light roast. It’s as if Kyle is a mind-reader mystic, sent from the far reaches of our known universe to provide the exact indulgences necessary to provide you with the day you deserve.
The breakfast sandwiches were ready and out of the toaster before we finished ordering. The beverages were made with love and a dash of debonair.
We are forever in your debt, Kyle. We will...
Read moreI have been a frequent customer at this Starbucks, often enjoying their chai tea latte or mocha frappe, and I have consistently received excellent service. My husband and I used to go on dates at the Choctaw location. However, I recently had an experience that left me quite disappointed.
After finishing my grocery shopping, I decided to stop by Starbucks to order a water, as I had a headache and needed to stay hydrated due to my health condition. Unfortunately, I was informed that per the company's new policy, I couldn't order just a water and had to purchase another item to receive it. I was willing to pay for the water, but they were unable to meet this request.
While I understand that there may be reasons behind this policy, I didn't appreciate it, especially considering that some people, like myself, may simply want to drink water without adding sugars or caffeine to their bodies. There are homeless people who deserve to sit in Starbucks and drink water. Going forward, I will be praying for the company and its staff, but I will not be visiting this location anymore.
May God bless this establishment and guide it in making policies that consider the diverse needs of its customers.
I apologize if this is at all,...
Read moreWell I order the exact same thing literally every day sometimes multiple times a day. I may order at different locations due to traveling to different locations in the state for work and I have never had this problem before. I order my americanos with no water extra ice and extra oat milk. Every Starbucks I go to always puts enough ice and milk in it to fill closer to the top. I just ordered two of these drinks and they are a good 2” from the top. I just went in and asked the guy at the counter for an extra splash of oat milk! NEVER did I ask him to top it off and I just got a lecture that they aren’t supposed to do it and I should order it with water and they won’t be filling it up all the way. I’m not sure if Starbucks is starting to take the extra splash of oat milk out of their checks now or what but last I knew they don’t charge for it and they put insulated milk jugs out in the morning for people l. I just paid $6 for this coffee and if I want an extra splash of oat milk I think I should get it. I will never come back to this...
