I don’t drink alcohol, but have been looking for a chill place to socialize with a bar-like atmosphere (sans drama). Marcy (the owner) and her kickass team have created such an amazing place!

The vibe here is relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. There’s a pool table and a great mix of card and board games. Lots of comfy seating options and mood lighting - no eye-straining, ugly fluorescent lighting here. I don’t always recognize the music, but it is enjoyable and offers great backgroud noise without being intrusive.

I come here three to four times a week to read and sip on Kava (try the cookie butter one!) or Kratom (I use the “red” to help with chronic pain issues and insomnia). 👌🏼

Some things you might find helpful - In addition to Kava and Kratom, they also offer Kombucha, coffee, espresso, mushroom coffee, and White Rabbit energy drinks (try the root beer one!). There’s a solid selection of snacks, but outside food is welcome.

It gets better! BOGO kava and Kratom! Monday is BOGO all day. Daily BOGO 11 am-12 pm. Tues-Fri BOGO 4-6 pm; Sat/Sun BOGO 2-4 pm.

Terrible customer service, my family and I were outside on the bench looking at their events calendar and the bartender came outside telling us we had to get up and leave. Stating that the bench was only for customers. We didn't even get a chance to think about going inside before the bartender came out and explained that we needed to leave immediately or her mom was going to come out and do something to us. We agreed to leave and 2 minutes later as we were getting our son in his stroller she came back outside threatening that she wasn't asking, but demanded that she would get her mother if we did not leave immediately. She cursed and screamed at only us even though there were plenty of other people outside as their business is on a busy street in downtown Deland. Very hostile workers and would definitely not recommend to visit. Clearly, you have to look at the menu online beforehand because you can't even stand in front of their business for five minutes to even think about going in before getting screamed at and cursed at to leave. If you don't want people in front of your business, then don't place it on a busy street...
