This place is amazing. It's strictly to-go, so you order online via the QR code on the wall inside the lobby, then wait either in the lobby or your car while it's being prepared and they'll send you a message when it's ready. The brother who made our food was so kind and welcoming and took the time to patiently explain the ordering process. This was our first visit and we wanted to try our favorites- we ordered patties, jerk chicken dinner, oxtail dinner and fried chicken dinner. Sides included rice & peas, mac & cheese, steamed cabbage, steamed veggies and plantains. Everything was soooo good. The meats were juicy & tender; the jerk was falling off the bone. We ordered it Hot and came with sliced scotch bonnet on top. The rice and peas were soft and flavorful and the plantains were perfect. Everything was perfect. Do yourself a favor and order to-go from this place immediately. Wish we lived closer but maybe a good thing because we'd spend all of our money here. 10/10 go...
Read moreI ordered the curry goat but got curry chicken and wasn’t mad about it. Coming from a Jamerican, the food was well spiced. Be advised it’s a little on the spicer side but not overly spicy. I don’t like spicy foods too much (I know) but it was perfect for me. I also ordered the oxtails for my husband and a beef Pattie which was also tasty! Perfectly crispy. I don’t like soft patties. Excited to try their breakfast! Overall, their customer service is a 20 out of 10. I stopped in on my way back to work. I just couldn’t wait an extra minute and they brought my food to me! From one small business owner to the other, THANK YOU SO MUCH AND I UNDERSTAND and it wasn’t your fault. I’m very happy I saw your sign while driving back— get one for the roadside. Words from my husband, “We got us a new spot.” Thank you and I’ll make sure my colleagues patronize your business. Bless up!
Suggestions: Order by calling or using the QR Code in advance. You’ll need to call them...
Read moreThis has to be the best Jamaican food I've ever had. This place was the first time I had tried Jamaican food in Colorado. Before I've heard of this place I had no clue that there was even Jamaican restaurants in Denver. I love the way that Lamar goes above and beyond to give me the best Food he can possibly give me. He's an amazing cook and he's super friendly and he always makes my experience as amazing as possible. I love the fact that he gives me extra items and doesn't charge me extra for it. I love his fried chicken especially the way he spices it up and I love my plantains really sweet. I've tried other things as well like the curry goat and I must say the flavor is absolutely amazing. The gravy is definitely on the spicy side but I love spicy stuff especially when it's done right and Lamar definitely goes above and beyond with all the different spices. I can't wait until the restaurant becomes a sit down place, that'll be so cool to go sit...
