I came here for the first time on Christmas Eve. 4.7 on reviews. Cute little restaurant. My daughter had been here a few years ago and said it was okay but she had gotten Ramen. Customer service is great. Restaurant appears. Clean. They were fast. I thought they would be closing early but were staying open until 9pm Christmas Eve which is unusual. Nice portion sizes except they always skimp on rice. Most restaurants do. I asked for pepper chicken which doesn’t come spicy. I asked that they add a little heat. They said they could make it medium. Also ordered Mongolian beef medium spicy. The food was horrible. Not even edible. The black pepper chicken had a burnt taste to it. Couldn’t taste the flavor of the chicken. Appeared tender. But both dishes were super salty, high in sodium off the charts. Like the meat is cooked and doused in tons of high sodium soy sauce, saturated. Then add the spicy medium. The spicy was more like “hot” not medium. The two combinations together was like a heart attack waiting to happen. Maybe my experience would have been different without the spicy medium and no salt. I also got a small wonton soup. Dark broth which I think is soy sauce. Also salty and high in sodium. I don’t know how anyone can eat this food with that high content of sodium. They must be young and it doesn’t effect them but it’s super unhealthy and can raise blood pressure through the roof. You can see in photo all the red pepper flakes. And the dark sauce which is pure soy sauce/sodium. Ruined our Christmas Eve dinner. One and done. I will say the spring rolls were good and came free with two dinners. If you spend $40, you get rangoons free I believe. Parking can be difficult as it’s just street parking on a busy road. If you are sensitive to sodium or want to stay healthy, not the Chinese...

This is my favorite Chinese place by me! Go here lot. Very small and casual and always great food. The yushan chicken is my favorite, and everything my friend has had is always good too.

I had previously always given Little Gingko 5 stars and have LOVED their food...until last night. And it wasn't just the food that was bad but the woman I talked to when I got my food amd told her I was dissatisfied and she told me I WAS THE ONE THAT WAS WRONG!

Pre covid my bestfriend and I went to Little Gingko a LOT and the food has always been AMAZING! Since covid we both order quite a bit and has continued to be good. Last night I decided to try something new that I like at other places, the Schezwan Chicken, and the only description says "Chinese style" and if you google that there is nothing specific. The image on grubhub though looked good so I ordered it. When I got it the chicken was BURNT AND DRY! Zero type of sauce, the chicken was BLACKENED! Then when I called the store they told me this is how it is supposed to be and that I should have asked what "Chinese style" meant, and I asked her how I was supposed to when ordering through grubhub, to which she had no response. She said there was absolutely nothing she will do because its supposed to be "dry and burnt"! I brought my food home and added a TON of Thai peanut sauce and soy sauce and let it sit for awhile to try to let it soak up the sauces but it was still very dry...but slightly more edible. Little Gingko has ALWAYS had amazing food! But even from past experiences eating inside the restaurant, the employees definitely do not have the...

When you go to an establishment it’s important to receive good service, feel safe or at lease some type of concern. I came in this afternoon to pick up my to go order. A customer came in after me and tied his dog by the entry way with enough leash room that when I opened the door the dog could lick my package. I had a very traumatic experience recently involving a dog so I asked the owner politely as the establishment was empty and he was making his mind up regarding his miso soup to come either hold his pet or stand in between us as I have a fear. Both him and the young lady at the front looked at me and ignored me. He went back to his order where he deliberated and I asked again and he rudely let me know I could wait as I was inconveniencing his life, because his dog is a good dog.

Good customer service especially since the place was empty would be for her to say sir since you left your large dog at the entry way can you please allow her to leave and I will take payment etc on your return or something to that effect. Not look at me clueless and have a rude person invalidate my fear.

Further more since I’m here I will say the duck bao was delicious. The sesame chicken was not: something was not right with the veges and sauce and now I’m...

This place is so close to being 5 stars, but just didn’t quite make it for me. Though that may be due to the items I got. I started off with the Gyoza which were absolutely amazing. Perhaps the best gyoza I’ve ever had, and I would gladly order dozens more. Unfortunately, the entrees were less impressive. I got the sesame beef, and my partner got the sesame chicken. The sesame beef seemed to be breaded and fried beef pieces slathered in their sesame sauce. And their sesame chicken was a sort of puffed chicken, what you’d expect for sweet and sour chicken, and then covered in the same sauce. The beef itself was not bad, but it was so overwhelmingly sweet that it was hard to eat, and the breading really soaked in the sauce making this problem worse. The chicken did not soak in the sauce as well, so the sweetness was a bit more tolerable. However the chicken itself was not great. It felt like it was more dough than chicken, and I would have preferred the chicken to be breaded and fried more like the beef. That said, I’ll definitely be back to try this place again. The atmosphere and service were phenomenal, and I think a different entree probably would have been way better.
