Nothing is more disappointing than spending a lot of money on food for it to not be good. I placed a delivery through their website and I believe they’re partnered with Postmates. I ordered a lot of food and barely touched it. Wings were dry, definitely not enough sauce and even then the sauce wasn’t very satisfying. I was really looking forward to some good wings which is why I ordered a 20pc and it is currently in the trash. I also decided to to try their pretzels, cinnamon & the regular with salt with the cheese dipping sauce. The employee forgot to ring it in on their end which meant I paid online and never received what I paid for. The cinnamon pretzel was hard and not good at all (I can only imagine the plain pretzel would have been unsatisfactory as well). After contacting the owner, he stated he couldn’t refund me my money for the item that I never received because “they are not a delivery service”. Clearly. However the mistake was on the restaurant’s part simply because he “seen the order on the screen but forgot to ring it in on the ticket”. Terrible customer service because “honey, I’m the owner” does not scream helpful and apologizing with no solution screams useless. I dislike supporting restaurants where the owners do not care about their customers satisfaction. I didn’t order through the postmates app so I was unable to find my order to be able to receive a refund. The only thing good were the pulled pork sliders. Everything in quotation marks are exact words from the owner. I would not recommend and I definitely will...
Read moreSo, I ordered buy 1 get 1. Apperantly since I was ordering hot wings ,I had to pick the sauce for hot wings,if you do not do this, they will charge 20 dollars for 8 wings and you do not get 1 free. If you go to the app they charge you extra? It's hot wings. Also, I got a Reubens no sauce, french fries undercooked, onion rings undercooked. When I spoke to someone, it was brought to my attention that I have to pick a sauce.... um hot wings I picked ranch, its hot wings. The person that was on the phone with me on 10/25 at 0034 told me "I wish you could read" and hung up the phone on me. I have previously ordered from here before without issues, I will no longer order from here and I do not recommend it either. When you're getting undercooked food poor service and fantastic captcha ways to get around it,just dont.. As for the insult of " I wish you could read" why would you even say that to someone? Is that appropriate? Thank you I'll take you narrow minded opinion and frustration NOT into consideration. This place needs to do better if thats the customer service, insults and hang ups. Im just curious where does it say, if I do not pick a sauce ( which unfortunately I assumed) that restricts me of the other order? Maybe I cant read. Maybe English isn't my 1st...
Read moreWe attended one of the Drag Queen Brunches (first Sunday of every month) in October. Seating starts around 10 a.m.; the show begins at 11. I highly advise calling ahead for reservations, and getting there as early as you can. Also order your food as early as possible. They were down a couple of kitchen staff that day and the food took a really long time to come out.
Bob ordered the Reuben and tater tots, while I selected a breakfast sandwich called The Matty Pants. Our friends ordered a breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles. They definitely have a diverse brunch menu.
They serve $10 bottomless mimosas, and boy were they bottomless! We probably had way too many waiting for our food to arrive!
We remember the food being pretty tasty, but honestly we were pretty intoxicated by that time.
Every night is a different kind of a "special" night, including trivia nights, ladies nights, and run club events.
The ambiance reminds me of a traditional British pub. However, on drag queen brunch Sunday, the vibe was very upbeat and entertaining! The drag show included performers of all-ages, with some pretty amazing young performers! This is a new gem located in the heart of Capitol Hill and Cheesman Park. Everyone should try out this new LGBTQ-friendly...
