Ordered a flight (no big surprise, right!?!). From left to right:

Patty's Chili Beer - smoked chili on the nose, with maybe a little citrus or fruitiness. Peppers come through on the taste, but not overpowering or hot. Different, but good

Random Bronze Ale English Barleywine - Sweet Rose with plums on the nose. Almost no head after sitting. Initial taste is think and light that fades into medium malt sweetness balanced by alcohol warmth. Bitteness is very low. I get low caramel with some dark fruit notes in the taste. Alcohol is noticable but not overwhelming give the 10.3%abv. I prefer more mouthfeel, but that might be my preference only.

Lodo Style IPA - American IPA; floral and herbal, with maybe some spice; medium bitterness balanced by spiciness that's reminiscent of pepper and anise. Unsure of the hops being used. It's a different IPA than what I'm used to trying, but it's OK. There is some slight alcohol warmth in the backend.

Killing me Smalls! - pale ale; spicy grape fruit in the nose. A bit thin in the mouth feel and taste, but carbonation adds some creaminess to compensate. Light malt, low bitterness, and low hop flavor (light citrus). I would call this a refreshing beer to be had on a hot day

Common Loot (on bottom) - California common; reminiscent of an amber ale. Lightly hopped. Light caramel malt on the nose. Easy drinking; low malt balanced by slight bitterness. Easy drinking. Good beer (RIP Anchor Steam!)

Overall, this is a worthwhile place to visit to sample their beer. They easily have more than a dozen beers more than what I sampled. And, the music wasn't overpowering in the bar area. My bartender, Maggie, was great. She...

I was so, so sad to see that this place has changed so much during the COVID crisis. This has been on my list for a while for the first time I came to Denver. The menu looks entirely different and it was really difficult to decide what to order (despite it being ALL CHICKEN) because there wasn't a ton on there I thought I would enjoy.

I ordered the Southwest Coop salad and the malted chips as a side. I was pretty impressed by the chips (tho REALLY salty), but didn't know what white sauce/dip was delivered with it. Tasted something like a blue cheese dip, but nothing was listed on the menu. The menu is very small and has little description about what you're ordering.

The salad was another story, and I left most of it on the table when I left. I didn't realize that shredded chicken also meant large strips of skin and chunks of chicken that I had to pick out.

The beer also had zero description other than the style. You could pick between 6: a Mexican lager, imperial red, a gose, and 3 IPAs. I chose the gose and was also sadly disappointed. I think it was cucumber flavored, which I would've avoided if it was actually listed on the menu.

The service was pretty solid, but I was helped by so many different people I'm not sure if I actually had a server assigned to me. The first gent helping me seemed eager, but entirely too rushed for me to want to bother them with a bunch of questions. I was recommended to this place by so many folks, and I'm sad to return to them with a poor review. I'm hoping this is just due to COVID, but it was a really...

Cool Brewery, there is some street parking and a parking garage around the corner. We ordered a flight of beer and some food. You can find the menu on a QR code on the tables. There's plenty of outdoor seating if you want to bring your puppers.

Flight of 4:

Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - this was very good, a lighter tasting Stout with some coffee notes. Mile High Pale Ale - smells and tastes more like an IPA so not one of my favorites. Definitely a lot maltier than a standard vienna Lager Patty's Chile Beer - you definitely smell the hot pepper and you can taste a hint of the pepper but not too much of a kick. Still good though. Rail Yard Ale - Very tasty red Ale and super easy to drink. Probably one of my favorite ones.

We ordered Shrimp Scampi, side of Garlic Smashers, Cheese Fritters, and Fried Oystet Mushrooms. The Shrimp scampi was so delicious and came with some toast. It was a little spicy but I loved it. Garlic smashers were super good, I wish they were a little more garlicky but they were crispy. They were like crispy Garlic potato wedges. The cheese Fritter was kind of like a fried cheese ball and the Chipotle jam had a really good kick to it. The Fried Oyster mushrooms were really delicious as wellll. I enjoyed all the food.

What was also really cool is that some of the chefs and cooks came out and brought bacon for the dogs. Super friendly staff, Devon was awesome and brought out a big container of water for the pups. Loved it here. Everything came out...
