Really disappointed to write this review. Husband and I were excited to try this speakeasy, we came in and got our first 2 cocktails at the bar within 20 mins. Was able to move to an open table and ordered 2 shots and their catfish fritters. Waited over 40 mins or so just for our catfish and another 20 mins for the shots. $17 for about 6 small pieces of catfish, expressed how ridiculous the portion size was compared to the price bc they were very skimpy. The server was able to have the kitchen send out more, so we were grateful for that bc they were seasoned good. But would have been a complete ripoff. As we requested the bill, we already estimated what the total should be. And even assumed they would charge $15/shot plus tax on everything. So we thought we should be paying no more than $85 for our 2 cocktails ($16 + $17), catfish fritters ($17), 2 shots ($30), 6% tax and then a little wiggle room. To our surprise, the bill came to $139.86. Like how!? We expressed our concerns to the server, recalculated everything with her since the receipt was itemized and she stated she was waiting for the manager to come and she apologized. We appreciated her politeness but after waiting 15-20mins for the manager, we figured the they were never gonna come so we had to take that L. We can’t believe how slow the service was for both drinks and food. And how they overcharge without proper justification. It was just us 2. Their atmosphere was decent but definitely not worth going back.

Be aware that gratuity is included! This is a major pet peeve of mine, I don't mind a business including gratuity at all, I generally tip no less than 25% but it feels deceitful when they sneak it in your bill without saying anything. The drinks were good, not quite worth the price but I feel like you're paying for the ambiance. It's a beautiful space but the cocktail menu is extremely limited, 9 cocktails total between $17-$22. I also suggest to not order off menu without asking for cost first. I ordered a drink that was very similar to one on the menu but somehow mine was almost double the price. I questioned it but was told that's just how the system puts it in.

A truly excellent experience & first impression. We originally went at the wrong time- they didn’t open until 6p, (instead of 5p) but once 6p rolled around we were able to walk in and be seated quickly. (The entrance is behind Savannah blue in an alley with a gold door ) Really lovely subdued “speakeasy” atmosphere, great Motown & xm Groove music. Incredible drinks, a little on the pricier side, but worth it for their attention to detail and interesting flavor combinations. Will absolutely be back, the team there could not have been better if they tried- really lovely people. Thank you so much and see you soon!

Beautiful bar with interesting, albeit pricy, cocktails but what was likely a mistake on the part of the bar staff has turned into a 1+ week long ordeal with my credit card company because someone swiped my card for someone else’s tab. I filed a dispute and, instead of owning up to the mistake, the bar sent my c.c. company a pdf of a “credit sale” for the amount, not a receipt with my actual signature on it (because that receipt doesn’t exist). I’ve since sent back a picture of my actual receipt for the night.

What’s funny is the first tab that I got showed that my card was only charged $0.06, not the real amount. I called the waiter over to make sure it was corrected and received the voided receipt and my correct receipt. But in the end, I got 2 charges - one of which I’m still fighting now. So maybe cash only if you go or check your bank transactions before you leave just in case. Being charged $79 for 2 drinks is a bit...

Went expecting to love this place, but had a poor experience with staff before I could even order a drink. The doorman that evening initially didn’t let us in, although the bar was supposed to be open for another 30 mins. Someone in our group knew someone inside and we got in. No biggie.

We sit down, and shortly after here comes the same doorman telling me I had to remove my hat. Shocked, as he had not mentioned this at the door, I look around the very small space and easily see TWO men at the bar wearing hats and seemingly having a great time! I address this and he gets defensive, flippant, beside himself. I decided to leave as not to escalate the situation.

I tried resolving my issue discreetly afterwards by sending Willow a DM via IG-no response! It’s been weeks…

Very disappointed. Train your staff to treat customers fairly and with more...
