Count your days Starbucks. I was in yesterday morning, I usually place a mobile order and swing by on my way to work, grab it and go. The one barista that seems to be the AM barista is the rudest person, I understand people have bad days, I get it. I work customer service and it can be exhausting. but this woman is ALWAYS so unwelcoming and just downright rude. I barely make it to the window and get to stopped a before her arm is out shoving my order at me. Yesterday took the cake. I ordered a cup,a breakfast wrap, and my coffee. First met with attitude “what’s your order” was cut off while telling her with “no what’s the name on the order”. Those being two separate things btw. Secondly, it seems like me ordering merch was just a major inconvenience to her, “we don’t have it” I told her what it looked like to me from the picture and with a whole lot of attitude got “we don’t have studded cups” and overheard “I don’t know why it lets people order stuff when we don’t have it” -it let me order it because YOU DO have it, I know how those things work because I myself fulfill orders like that everyday, if it wasn’t in stock it wouldn’t be available to order. Finally got my merch I ordered after 5 min. THEN was handed my coffee (had I been handed my coffee first the following would have been avoided) and food item. Here’s where the fun begins, I pushed down on my lid out of habit to make sure it’s good, all seems well. Stop. go to take a sip. Lid pops off. Fix it. Get to the light. Pick it up (mind you I did not pick up from the lid) the MOMENT I picked up my coffee the lid popped off causing the cup to lose all stability and then in that moment coffee went flying EVERYWHERE. My cup holder was flooded with coffee. It’s now all over myself and my car. Mind you, I was on my way to work. But now I’m covered in coffee, with no time to drive all the way back home and change because I had to pull over and find something in my car to clean up this mess with. I then inspected the lid once I got it on the cup and there was NO WAY to keep it on, it was popping off no matter what. She handed me a very sticky cup KNOWING that lid was not about to stay on and sent me on my way. Which in turn, made me late for work since I had to completely stop to clean this mess up (might I add I drive almost an hour so it wasn’t a I’ll clean it when I get there sort of thing) So I wasted stars on a coffee I didn’t even get to drink, because the interior of my car got to enjoy it. I’ve had much better service from this Starbucks in the past but now it’s become very hit and miss but I can’t say I’ll frequent this one as much now. I’ll drive out of my way just to avoid having to deal with rude baristas and the chance I might have to...
Read moreThis is the worse Starbucks. From the drive thru, I ordered the Vt. Mocha Cookie Crumble with extras expresso, extra chocolate drizzle, and no whip cream. After waiting in the slow line, the guy at the window attempts to had me the cup with whip cream. I explained I ordered with no whip cream. He looks at the label on the cup and says you're right and apologized. When they remade the order..the whip cream that was once on top is clearly in the bottom of the new cup. I drove around the building and went inside. I explained I have allergies and clearly requested my order be made with no whip cream and you dumped the last drink into a cup and handed it to me as though the issue was corrected. I watched them pull the sticker off the cup and put it on a new cup, remake the drink, but now it looks like chocolate milk. I requested to speak with a manager. Katie told me she was the manager. I attempted to hand her the cup and explained I no longer wanted the drink; I wanted the funds to be place back on my card. She told me Starbucks cannot take the drink back and, "Starbucks don’t want us to refund money!" is what she said to me. That she could give me a card with a store credit. I asked for the corporate number, and she wrote it on a gab and have me the bag. She provided me with a store card for $4 cash credit on my next purchase. I will not purchase from this...
Read moreMy 10 yr old Daughter had the flu and I'm disabled veteran with mobility issues. I came to Capitol Starbucks Drive thru Dover DE. and ask for a Cup of ice water to hydrate my kid because she was running a temp. I was denied a cup of ice water. I usually leave a tip when ask in the past. I offered to pay for the cup of ice. And was told I couldn't purchase a cup of ice. I asked where was this policy in writing and the employee with Britt on her name tag threatened to call the Police on Pregnant disabled me and my 3 kids. This was highly embarrassing and felt very racist. I went inside requested a manager to complain. Ordered a Trenta Blackberry Sage lemonade. So that I could give cup of ice to my sick child. I called the Police because I wanted to make a formal complaint. I waited a over a half hour but the police didn't show. I had 3 sick kids with fevers and flu and couldn't wait any longer. I've been a loyal customer over 20 years. I spend on average 2,500 plus a year on Starbucks a year and that's just on coffee. Food and Merchandise would make that total a lot higher....
