Wait time was minimal. We are seated In a small top. Suited for four and against wall.
Full disclosure we've visited this location several time in past years. All with very positive and pleasing results. This vist was disappointing due to waiters practice encounter.
Please understand this is not a fast restaurant it's a professional casual dunning. Saying this expect premium price. With premium food and service.
Understanding our waiter has one large table top seated. Along with us. Then adding one large table top at later time.
In our observation his time spent joking and creative conversation. Delayed service to tables. Noted the hostess did a great job handling assignments to each server.
Or personal experience - Requesting refills takes long periods. Refills of soups were faster. Bread sticks were hard. Requesting different set result in same hard bread refills. We weren't able to enjoy our Alfredo Alfredo dipping sauce due to bread sticks.
My wife complemented the tasty order of Pasta Fagioli soup. My Zuppa Tuscana was almost as good as grandma's. Just a bit more hot pepper flakes and less butter flavor. No complaining here. Appsolutly enjoyed the difference.
The Chicken Gnocchi soup was disappointing. The Gnocchi was raw or under cooked. * See my posted pictures for reference*. By the next day I unfortunately experienced what under cooked chicken does.
We stacked dishes up leaving them toward end of table. Why we do this- Easier for servers to grab and go. Server's can use as visual aids for refills or end of meal time.
Again unfortunately our waiter spent extensive time joking with large table tops and creating unessary conversation time. So we were left unsightly stacks of dirty dishes. While observation of larger tables were cleared attentively.
Out table experience- Drink refills and soup refills were noticably delayed I personal tried get this waiters attention for a refill in several occasions to put a dessert order in. Failed each and every try.
At least the dirty dishes finally get grabbed on haste. He then rushes over to the big table top with dirty dishes in hand. During same period more joking and conversation stimulation. Appeared the table was finished with meals and wanted to pay bill. * Was he working up a higher tip?*.
Getting fully ignoring we. Decided not to order our dessert and drink refills.

Read moreI'd like to start when we got there. We were seated without any silverware. A gentleman who was serving kept looking at us but chose to ignore us and instead served a couple sitting to the side of us [who came in a few minutes after us) We were both sitting there without silverware for relatively 20 minutes, till a nice gentleman named Christian helped us with our food. I ordered a strawberry bellini, and my friend ordered a peach raspberry sweet tea. Somehow, we both ended up with the same drinks. [We ordered our food, alongside our drinks. ] I ordered a salad. When the salad was brought to us, we weren't asked about cheese but instead given dirty plates. At this point, I was beyond annoyed with the lack of service that was being displayed at this restaurant. It wasn't until a few minutes later that my friend asked the waiter for silverware, and Christian apologized over and over. I know he felt guilty because of him apologizing, but I would have at least expected him to tell the difference between drinks, at least. After some time, I lost my appetite due to the poor service and decided leaving would be the best option. Christian called over the manager, and I explained everything in detail about what happened. The mix-up of drinks, us waiting 20 minutes before being served, how people were served before us, the dirty plates, no silverware. She was super accommodating and genuine by offering us dessert and / or a free entree or a gift card to another establishment. I declined because it didn't feel right to accept such simply because I just wanted to leave. She mentioned their dishwasher malfunctioning and that it wasn't an excuse, and how sorry she felt. She made the experience nice towards the tail end, but everything else was unacceptable, in my honest opinion. Below is the plate mentioned, alongside the drink that was given to me, vs. the strawberry bellini I...
