Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Duluth

I really wanted no stars for this place! I bought an ice cream cake from this store yesterday. When I went to eat it, it was way beyond stale/freezer burned, the middle was rock hard, and it just tasted bad. When I went to return/exchange it today, I was told that I cannot return it without the receipt, I offered him a snapshot of my checking account (NOT SOMETHING i CAN JUST MAKE UP. AS FAR AS I KNOW WELLS FARGO DOESN'T LET THEIR CUSTOMERS GO IN AND PRODUCE FAKE PURCHASES!!!!!!!1) and he said (full of an attitude not becoming a manager, if he was one) I need the receipt, not a bank statement. I didn't show him my bank statement. I showed him proof of purchase it had the store name and zip code, but he refused to look at it. Total jerk! (huge tall guy worked Sunday April 7th at around 4 p.m.) I made the purchase Saturday April, 6 around 6 p.m. All I know for sure is that the store has proof of my purchase, there were identifying stickers on the cake itself, and this is not how you should treat customer! Yeah, I spent $18.00 on a cake that I cannot eat. I just left it on the counter and left. Absolutely terrible customer service!!! I am more upset with the service than dq protocol. Me and the fellas were vulgarly craving some classic dairy queen chicken strip today. We pulled up to the dairy queen in dire need of chicken strips and I honestly forgot how amazing their chicken is. For an ice cream fan food restaurant their chicken is some of the best I have ever had. They had the greatest workers who were super helpful and friendly. My chicken was something out of a dream, and the ice cream was so good, filled to the top they never short sell you. I cant wait to go back and eat some chicken strips with ranch sauce. Best day I've had in the last month thanks to Dairy Queen chicken strips. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone in the Duluth area.
