Roscoe's Pioneer Bar — Restaurant in Duluth

A group of us were up from Wisconsin for the food show the beginning of Nov. We stopped in the night of Nov 1. The male bartender that was working that evening was the rudest bartender we have ever encountered. Over charges us for shots. We played music on the juke box and if the bartender didn’t like it he would skip it. Um, we literally paid for the music, we were the only ones in the bar at the time, and it’s not up to the bartender to decide what is played or skipped, so yeah, definitely not impressed. After coming here and being treated this poorly, it is likely we will never come back. My advice....

This is a cool lil dive bar with friendly and professional staff. Chill locals with a diverse crowd.

Wow! Google asked for an update so here goes. I've made friends for life at Roscoe's. Jen and Jerome treat customers like family. And every local calls this place their "Spot". Oh and try Jerome's BBQ or if it's late grab a pizza. It's the perfect bar for everyone and it pops on...

This is literally the BEST bar we have ever found in the Duluth area! Not only is the staff friendly and fun but the local patrons are the best people you will ever meet. We showed up for a girls' weekend, got greeted by the friendliest dog, and were shown the best hospitality that we have experienced in a long time! The drinks are cheap and the pizzas are perfect. We can't wait...
