This was such a disappointing experience and unfortunately it had nothing to do with the food. After waiting for 45 minutes in line to order (with my 8 year old), we approached the front of the line and the owner came out to tell us that he was not taking any new orders. I asked if we could purchase the pizza that was already made (sitting on his counter). He said yes, another 15 minutes went by and he came back to say they were now closed. Literally have not seen such bad management or service in the last 10 years working in customer service. I asked why he couldn't have let everyone know who was waiting and his response was sarcastically "sorry- its not all about you". The owner said that he was training 5 new people (who were making the pizza dough and getting it on their clothing by the way). Out of these 5 employees plus himself, we were never alerted that they were closing, couldn't take our orders, or they were behind int eh 45 minutes of waiting. This came in the last 10 minutes when I was second in line.My 8 year old was so hungry at that point we had even tried to negotiate the pizza that was sitting out in hopes of at least feeding her without having to wait at another restaurant and there was no understanding or trying to help at all. I will never return to this establishment and can not recommend a tweaked out owner who can not manage his own staff or attempt to...
Read moreHeard a lot of good things, so decided to give them a try. Went to the website and there was a link to order online. Clicked the link and it went to the Slice app… where they are not set up as a client. So no way to order or even see a menu. No problem, I’ll call in an order… go back to their website and there is no menu there either. after Googling a bit I found bits of an old menu, so I called in to just order an 18” pizza for carry out. That part went smoothly tho I was surprised the plain pepperoni was $25.
Went to pick soy up and that was also smooth but there were zero customers. I was showed the pizza which looked awfully bubbly, but it was dark and I didn’t want to make a fuss. Asked for a menu as there was nothing on there website and they didn’t have any menu available to take home.
Got the pizza home and in the light and it was largely bubbles. It was also cooked a little unevenly. Some of the bubbles were burnt and some had a decent texture.
The piece that didn’t have bubbles was good. The bits of the other pieces that weren’t bubbles were also good. It was mostly just bubbles of crust tho and those weren’t good. No one felt sick from eating it, just dissatisfied, which is prob the best thing I can say about it.
So tldr; no menu, site goes to app they don’t use...
Read moreHad an interesting experience at Father's Daughter's. We came around 1pm on the 4th of July. Place wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. The vibe was pretty chill and the waitress was super nice. We ordered drinks and pizzas (and one ravioli plate) and waited. It got busier as we waited and the food took a pretty long time to come out. We watched others waiting for their food for awhile too. The waitress did refills and was still pleasant. Food took about 40 minutes to come out, which really is a long time.
We ordered individual slices, they're quite large. When the pizzas finally came out they were decent. I got the Wise Guy, which was basil, meatballs, mushrooms, and roasted onion. The pizza was pretty good, but had some . I didn't really pick up any basil or onion. The sauce was quite salty and the crust was a bit soft in the middle of the slide. My wife got ricotta on hers and it mellowed out the sauce a lot. My son got ravioli and loved it 😁
It was the 4th and obviously a bit of a weird day, and the restaurant biz is hard. I should reiterate that the staff were super nice. I'd definitely be willing to come back on a non holiday and try again. And I think the bar vibe with a buddy would be...
