We have spent our summers in Durango for six years now. Despite telling ourselves we needed to try this place, we only just tried it today. I have to say, the food was delicious! We had the ham, Gruyere , and tomato crepe and the chocolate hazelnut crepe. Both were super delicious. Prices are high, but I imagine rent in downtown Durango is not cheap. Considering the crepes are big enough to split, the prices are not prohibitive.

As a side note, I can’t believe the people who rate this place with 1 star claiming the owner was rude to them because he asked them to move from his seating area because they were not customers. The only person being rude were the people who thought it was okay to sit there. Not sure why they think this was any different than them buying food at McDonalds and taking it in a different restaurant to eat. The entitlement attitude of...

About 2 weeks ago, my wife and I visited Durango for 3 days to celebrate our anniversary. We try to make get out there from Denver once a year. Of all the restaurants in Durango, Michel’s Corner Crepe cart literally stands alone. If you’re looking for the most beautifully prepared, most delicious breakfast/lunch you’ve ever had, you have to walk over and visit Michel.. All the way from France, as he prepares his creations, he will pick fresh herbs right off out of the little garden surrounding the seating area on the corner of about 6th and Main st. There are so many different kinds of delicious crepes, that it’s hard to decide which one to try first, and you’ll definitely want to try as many as you can while you’re there. Thank you for the best food and conversation while we were in town, and we’ll definitely be coming back to see you...

What a gem! Looking for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday morning while in Durango and the closest local bagel shop was too full. Popped around the corner and found Michel's and couldn't have been happier. Situated on a well landscaped and cared for garden corner courtyard on Main and College - the little cart pumped out some incredible crepes that are prepared with such care. We enjoyed our crepes under a shade umbrella with a beautiful Colorado breeze blowing. I could tell Michel takes great pride in his culinary skill and checked in to make sure we were enjoying the crepes. We had the egg, spinach and feta plus the egg, manzaga sausage and green chili - both were incredible. I would highly recommend a breakfast or lunch while in Durango or...

Do not miss! We have lived in Europe for a year and have tasted crepes in multiple countries/cities across Europe. Michel brought true French crepes with him to Durango. My daughter, who's addicted to crepes said these were the best she's ever had. My son asked me to add a hashtag to this review: #BestCrepeEver. There were suggestions to extend our stay in Durango just so we can come back for more crepes (after ordering two rounds while sitting there and these are big crepes). I personally had only had one crepe in my life that can compete with Michel's and that was in a small village on the border of Belgium and Germany so if you're not there eat at Michel's. If you're in Durango or an hour's drive away - eat at Michel's. Trust me, you'll thank me later ;-)

Cute roadside food truck and seating area. The crepes were fantastic! What was even better was watching him make our crepes and some from the people that ordered before us. There was such care in making each crepes, it was like watching an artist. I was surprised by some of the spashes of flavors that were added, but they were all incredible. If you are in the area, even for a few minutes, it is worth the stop. We were given a taste of his cider, which he served with a slice of orange, raspberry and blueberry. The presentation was so colorful and the taste was wonderful, not too sweet. It was probably the best cider that I have ever tried.
