Orio's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Durango

This past December 23rd, we came in for a nightcap. We waited for a while to get any service. The bartender was busy talking and taking shots behind the bar with the front door man. Finally, after they got their drink on, they served us. At first, he was ok, and then all of a sudden, his whole attitude changed. He kept calling out people who would play music on the prepaid jukebox machine. And if he didn't like it, he would skip it. That didn't seem fair due to the fact people were inserting their own money to listen to paid for music. Then, he would start challenging men and saying your cut off. And then come back around and slam a beer in front of them and say, "Here you go!" Our group came to the conclusion that he was very drunk, and so was the front doorman. Close to last call, he started yelling and being very unprofessional. It was just awful. He kept badmouthing other bars while telling people to go elsewhere. If this bartender is your server, watch out. He also threw our receipt at us and ripped the receipt from my hands while i was signing it. He is very rude and seems to be upset about his glory days from Farmington High School, FHS class of 97' he kept...

Just left this establishment and have to say it's not a great place to go. You can smoke inside but the bartender was not very friendly. I asked if they had a menu or drink menu, he said they did not so we had to order basic. Just off the top, I did not see any food being served so I wouldn't recommend going here if you think your going to have food options. The bartender was not very welcoming he wanted your order fast to be done with you. No small talk or welcome. They do have pool tables but honestly for the service provided, I would recommend a different place. It wasn't a very comfortable atmosphere. I asked them if they were going to have the UFC fights since there were televisions with sports on and he advised no too expensive we don't do those. We ended up leaving right away, no use in staying since the atmosphere was uncomfortable anyways. I honestly would not recommend stopping here, was a waste of time and $$ since there's no appreciation for their patrons. There are plenty of other places in the same neighborhood to visit. Would only recommend if you like to smoke cigarettes or dont mind a place that smells like an ashtray. I went there because my friend from out of town smokes cigarettes. I ordered 2 beers, we waved down the bartender after first round. He actively ignored us then finally came over and told us he doesnt serve people who dont tip. I told him he had us mistaken us for some other people as ive been there only 2 times.prior and.my friend just came in from Wisconsin. He denied us service and we left even after i explained i always tip well.
